Hm, am I the only one who thinks those look more like 3D models rather than the final cast product? I wonder how those colors will change as they approach the more finalized version.

A few of them have that feeling, in particular the Dimorphodon.
Most (if not all) Rebor figures are mid

I'm really looking forward to the Zuniceratops (which I guess confirms the one leaked earlier?) and especially the baby Brachiosaurus. I wonder if we'll see those in Camp Cretaceous possibly. Though with all the ceratopsians Mattel has done so far, I really hope they expand onto thyreophorans for once in the future too, particularly stegosaurs (such as Kentrosaurus or Huayangosaurus).

I'm also really looking forward to the Nedry set as well. I guess I should probably add these to the op.

Edit: I should probably add, that despite Dominion being pushed back to 2022, and covid affecting that as well as the economy in general, I am glad to see Mattel is managing what seems to be another year of interesting releases, including some new sculpts possibly, even if this may be the most repaint heavy year yet thus far. And while I like some of these new repaints, I'll probably skip most as I need space, and obviously have a lot of catching up to do still with other brands (such as PNSO).

The Zuniceratops looks good but just like with the Siats, I dont think I need one in my JW collection.

BABY BRACHIOSAURUS! Even though is only a render I already want it!

So adorable!

PD: I did not comment about the Nedry set. I hope it is real and that we get that Nedry figure with the raincoat, since I was not a fan of the vacation outfit of the exclusive version I never got.

Also like the covered jeep.

Hey Mattel, how about repainting the Scutosaurus and then having it actually make it up here to Canadian stores? Thanks!

American stores too, please. They really don't have to make any new sculpts for 2021, just re-release those that had shoddy distribution.

Collect Jurassic and others have revealed more pics of new stuff.

New T. rex with capture gear of sorts, and repaints or retools of Allosaurus, Baryonyx (CC Chaos, and edit: Limbo), Ceratosaurus, Ankylosaurus (adult Bumpy?).

Here there is some information about a possible Kentrosaurus as well (I guess I got my wish), as well as the other stuff shared by Collect Jurassic.

I am going to have to fix up my infrastructure to be able to fit all of this into the park.

The T.rex looks like it will be a simplified version of the epic roaring without the shaking roar feature. At least the capture gear gives people a reason to get another T.rex. Personaly I am happy with my new Epic Roaring.

Also, I am gonna take the opportunity to say that, after having the epic roaring T.rex for a couple of weeks...Every single complaint I had about it is gone. It is like every single picture, video and such purposely wanted to show its supposed "cartoony" side to make it look worse than the previous ones. Figure looks as good if not better than the previous big T.rexes. She is beefier and has a defined chest (something the others lack), the sculpted detail is more intricate and both the figure and action feature feel more solid when compared to the rather fragile Thrash n Throw.

I may prefer the shape of the head of the previous ones, but only by a thin margin. Seriously this T.rex is amazing in person. If you still haven't got any of the big T.rexes (non extreme chomping) this is the one to go. Or wait for the retool with capture gear.

The Allosaurus is a waste since it still has the same body, legs, and tail. That thing won't stand up. The need for a 100% new sculpt is already up there with the need of a bigger Triceratops.

I hope that Kentrosaurus is real. I have been waiting for long for one, and we needed something more that ceratopsians.

Sinoceratops repaint, Tiger Raptor repaint, Brachiosaurus baby, Kentrosaurs, Nedry with jeep. That's 5 releases for next year that I am interested in. Plus I still need to get an Albertosaurus, Troodon, a Plesiosaurus and Nasutoceratops (hoping for a repaint with this line, or a possible dominion one in 2022). Not sure about Alioramus and Irritator. And I would like a second chance on the Postosuchus.

I hope they dont have too many new stuff for 2021. I want, no, I NEED to take a break. I dont care if fans complain. I need to stop for a while. And you cant take a break with new releases, some figures will get rare and expensive within a few months.

I wish Mattel would stop being so slavish to the films with regard to T. rex and release a repaint or a brand new toy in a vibrant, radically different colour scheme similar to how the Battle Damage Spinosaurus is all done up in blue and yellow. All these dull browns are pretty darned dull. :P

What would be really great is if we got a T. rex with the Kenner Bull T. rex paintjob. Either the green or orange, or both.

I haven't been keeping up with Mattel, am I understanding this correctly, they haven't made a "buck" yet?
They did:

Hmmm.....

I need help from a mod, the image is not posting >:(

The paint looks very similar to the Primeval Spinosaurus

avatar_MLMjp @MLMjp I agree with you. I need a break as well (aside from being behind on a few such as the Irritator, Troodon, etc and catching up on other brands, mostly PNSO, and CollectA too probably).

terrorchicken

It'd also be nice if they'd re-release the 2nd wave Imaginext baby triceratops, mosasaurus, stegosaurus and parasaurolophus.

Wallnut

Zuniceratops and allo looks nice the last thing they need to do is giganotosaurus.
