Hello there, i am still new to this forum. I wanted to share some of my dinosaur figures that i sculpted over the last year (my very first sculpts are too horrible to be shown here  ;D) I'm also very interested in making articulated figures... but i chose a simple way with wire instead of joints (maybe one day...). You can also have a look on instagram (@palaeopart) and Etsy.

Awesome Work! Thanks for sharing these. It is really impressive to see articulated Figures from a private Person. My favourites are your Iguanodon and the juveline Tyrannosaurus. I love closed mouthed Theropods. The eye is made out of glass? Fantastic pose and expression. Are you going to paint it? Looking forward to it. But i know how long it sometimes takes and that projects sometimes stop for months. :D

These are all beautiful!  My favorites are the ceratosaurus and the juvenile t-rex.  I'm really impressed at how expressive they are.  Not in an anthropomorphic way.  They have that alert wild animal look about them.

Gothmog the Baryonyx

Wow, all of those are beautiful, you are very talented.
Megalosaurus, Iguanodon, Archaeopteryx, Cetiosaurus, Compsognathus, Hadrosaurus, Brontosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Albertosaurus, Herrerasaurus, Stenonychosaurus, Deinonychus, Maiasaura, Carnotaurus, Baryonyx, Argentinosaurus, Sinosauropteryx, Microraptor, Citipati, Mei, Tianyulong, Kulindadromeus, Zhenyuanlong, Yutyrannus, Borealopelta, Caihong

Thank you so much :-) The juvenile Tyrannosaurus was a commission work and it's going to be 3D scanned...maybe...that's why i left it primed in white. Yes, it's a glass eye and yes, some projects take longer than expected or sometimes i have to take a "creative break" ;-)

Thank you for your fast reply. It is maybe going to be scanned. Not that is interesting! So there is the Idea to print them in different scales in the End? Of course you do not need to answer that if thats nothing you can tell us. But it is so interesting :-)
Did you buy the Eyes in Germany? I'm having a bit trouble finding what i want, and always wanted to try that. Half an Eyeball would work, too. Maybe even better. But all the Eyes i can find are already painted and too big. Sorry for asking so much, but it is always a wonderful opportunity to ask someone directly.

Dusty Wren

These are all great, but I love your Arctodus especially. It's a lovely take on a species that doesn't get nearly enough attention.
Check out my customs thread!

You're welcome ;-) Yes, that was the idea but i think the better way would be a 3d sculpted model. i've already tried to scan some rather simple models with "David Laserscanner" and i've learned about the many many difficulties about 3d scanning. But if it works the customer wants to offer it as a model kit.

I usually buy glass eyes for teddy bears and stuff like that - those are available in different sizes and are flat on the backside. For smaller models i use glass pearls in different colours with a hole going through. The hole looks like a pupil.

I've seen your shop on Etsy. Really nice work!

I love that Chirostenotes. I don't think it's ever been done by any company.

I really like your style! All of these are great, but I am especially keen on the Chirostenotes and the Ceratosaurus.

Well, there is at least the Safari Anzu, which could stand in. I think they were considered the same genus not too long ago.

Ah, thank you very much. Then, i will just have to look more like Stuff you said. Helps alot.

Really interesting about the 3D scan and the possibility of a Model Kit. If this will happen, you will inform us about that, i would guess, hehe : )
