I like that Deinonychus base. Kind of reminds me of his older Deinonychus model kit in a way. I'm hoping the Deinonychus will be one of the cheaper offerings, because of its smaller size (I'm guessing similar to the BotM Guanlong?). It might be one of the few I can afford at the time of the Kickstarter, depending on how much everything offered will cost. I mean there's quite a bit on my wishlist, but that doesn't mean I'll be able to afford it all in one go.

Good to see how much articulation this one is going to get too. I'm not surprised considering how much the much smaller Velociraptor has though.

Concavenator

I really hope David will be showing off the finished A. jimmadseni at the Power-Con!  :D

Flaffy

Easily the best upcoming Carnotaurus, and dare I say THE definitive articulated one.

Carnoking

No words... should have sent a poet... :'(

Pliosaurking

That's the best Carnotaurus I've ever seen in figure/model form, by far!!!

New video of the display at Powercon:

https://www.instagram.com/p/Cv0MHOcMsM4/

So from left to right there's the:

-BotM Utahraptor (painted)
-Dilophosaurus (painted)
-Dilophosaurus with armor
-"Pyrodactyl" armor mode
-Dryptosaurus with armor
-"Razorhound" armor mode (painted)
-Achillobator with armor (painted)
-Deinonychus
-Arctic Dragon "Kuraokami" (painted)
-Smilodon
-Utahraptor with armor and rider (painted)
-Allosaurus with armor
-Carnotaurus
-Andrewsarchus
-BotM Achillobator (painted)

There's quite a bit of humans in the mix as well. I'm guessing at least two of those are the characters Argenteus (near the Allosaurus?), and Dragolina (near the Smilodon?). Stegosaurus was of course not present, but David mentioned that in a previous post.

I think the Dryptosaurus is the newest reveal. I remember seeing the concept art for it way back during the Tyrannosaur campaign, but I couldn't remember if it got armor sculpted, etc.

There's also a 20% sale for in stock items at Creative Beast Studio with the code: POWERCON23

Edit: Formatted this to make it easier to read. Added the BotM Achillobator I forgot about earlier as well.

I am so excited for that Andrewsarchus... with hooves, as it should be.

This might just be the definitive Andrewsarchus for me because I much prefer the more entelodont looking reconstructions.

QuoteSomething that I neglected to show from Power-Con this past weekend was the reveal of the 6" (1/12th scale) Cyberzoic figure prototypes for our main characters Dragolina and Argenteus. I had these on display as an experiment to gauge fan reaction and interest, and it was extremely positive at the show. The only drawback to this larger scale is the lack of animal options to go with them. But we will be offering the 1/12th scale Smilodon, and don't be surprised if you see a 1/12 Deinonychus in the line up as well. Sound off in comments with your thoughts on these and let me know if you'd like to see these 6" versions offered with the new Cyberzoic Kickstarter!

Edit: David also mentioned this in a comment on his FB:

QuoteShout out to Ehren Bienert (Dragolina) and Fred Aczon (Argenteus) for these amazing sculpts!

I noticed these in the earlier images, and video, but totally didn't even realize these two were 1/12, lol. Like I was wondering why they were there twice. The prospect of a 1/12 scale Deinonychus is exciting as well.

Edit: Some more videos of the display, and some more info on some of the figures coming (including lore for the armor, etc):

The second video has important information regarding the kickstarter as well.

Eatmycar

To be very frank, I loathe the bikini armor for a number of reasons. It just feels... ugly and out of touch.

The rest of this stuff is absolute fire, though. Cyberzoic needs to expand beyond dinosaur fans as customers to succeed - and it seems David knows this by rolling out 1/12 scale humans and making sure the 1/18 stuff is troop buildable.

Lots of "reasons" for the choice you can find.. lol

I think we need a few 1:12 smaller animals to also go with them.

Stegotyranno420

E @Eatmycar I loathe it as well. Its a ugly, impure, cliché trope, and frankly it reduces them to what Blade shown above, almost objectifying them.
I don't think Scythians or Mongols(both societies where women went to war to some degree) had that kind of "armour", it makes more sense to be heavily covered.

Is this going to be really succesful without some media coming with it? Is there something planned?
IMO animals look great, as always, but humans and armours not so much. They look overdesigned but kind of... "generic" at the same time. I can't tell one clan from the other.

We all know by by now David is as big a dino nostalgia fan as most of us are and I suspect fantasy as well. Hence the love or dragons. Go back to all that old DnD art, frank frazetta, Red Sonja..ect.. it's easy to see his inspiration.

I think there was a plan for a comic or something at one point? Basically it's just a head canon David has now I think? A land where all different warrior tribes exist among dinosaurs and dragons.

The armor does each have different styles. I think once color is added it will also be a lot easier to see. More Rulons vs Valorians.

Faelrin

E @edu avatar_Blade-of-the-Moon @Blade-of-the-Moon There are intended to be comic books in the works for this series as well. I don't know if they are coming alongside the figures or sold separately. Kind of similar to Furay Planet now that I think of it. I'm sure David will announce it when there's more details. He's mentioned so in various comments on his socials.

Wow, this is insane. I just watched a video and the armour on some of the dinosaurs you can take off and they will transform into a skeleton cyber beast. Mindblowing!  :o
And that dragon is so beautiful. Too beautiful... It's all I can think about now. I hope I can resist it, because I have no room for it really... ;D
Dilophosaurus and Carnotaurus are also stunners. I can't wait to see Carnotaurus painted up.

At this point we won't be offered any 1/35 figures in the upcoming Kickstarter campaign, right? Would love to see more at some point, especially the Allosaurus. Honestly, the more 1/35 figures they release, the more likely it is for me to get them lol.

I hope David considers Austroraptor for the future too. Could have easily been chosen over the Achillobator, which, as a result of its fragmentary remains, is simply depicted as Utahraptor 2.0. I also don't believe Achillobator is more requested than Austroraptor too. Austroraptor has better remains and has a more unique morphology and lifestyle compared to what people usually associate dromaeosaurids with, it's also appeared on Prehistoric Planet. Paradoxically, maybe it's these reasons that made Achillobator have the preference, maybe people prefer Utahraptor 2.0 over something more unique after all. But I don't know what to think, because it's only now that we're getting good Utahraptor figures (Creative Beast and Safari). :P

Eocarcharia

Quote from: Creative Beast StudioFollowing up on the recent reveal at Power-Con, here's a closer look at the 1/18th scale Deinonychus antirrhopus, which will be first introduced during the upcoming Cyberzoic Kickstarter! And don't be surprised if you see this also offered at the 1/12th scale.
Brilliant sculpting work here by Ross Persichetti.
