Like I said, Universal likely doesn't care one single bit about the demise of a fan site and a YouTube channel, regardless of how popular they were. All that matters is making money off the franchise.

Bolded by me. This has been the goal ever since JP2. Every movie that can get turned into a successful franchise is gonna get milked dry and any "fanservice" is really just a calculated effort to sell more plastic. It sounds very negative, but people need to always keep in mind that "this is for the fans" is just a phrase. Even if we keep chugging money at these big corps, they simply will always go for lowest common denominator.

That being said, I agree it's awful Universal is going after private persons instead of businesses. From a legal standpoint it's probably easier for them to go after the second demographic influencers first since fans don't want to bite the hand that feeds and have no funds or legal standing to involve a lawyer.

I'm happy however that at least Andy is back with a new channel.

Andy is in the clear they reversed the strikes fortunately.

Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Primeval12

Andy just posted an update saying he's still having issues uploading. Of course, YouTube is taking its sweet time...  :(

Jurassic Outpost dropped an official image of the Therizinosaurus. It does indeed have a beak after all. Though would have been more noticeable if it was painted, cause it is colored dark in the film/trailer.

Edit: I've also seen an in package look one of my friends sent me, as another friend of theirs got it early. So much better then the canceled 2019 one. Can't wait for it to show up in stores.

Happy with the new Dimetrodon sculpt. While still very much inaccurate, at least somewhat resembles an outdated 90s depiction of the synapsid now compared to it's previous iteration.

No clue on what the grey two-fingered feathered theropod is supposed to be. Really hope it's not the rumored Rugops. Head vaguely resembles their Yangchuanosaurus design.

Not sure what happened to the baby Nasutoceratops, looks very mishapen compared to the puppet/animatronic design.

Faelrin

Thanks for sharing the images here. I think like I said before, very glad the Dimetrodon has the correct number of digits this time around. Head is kind of like the Dimorphodon in shape, kind of generic theropod-like, but oh well. The Atrociraptor looks good for the $7 range. I hope the white one gets a figure too though.

The Nasutoceratops baby is adorable and will surely go nice alongside the other baby dinosaurs like Bumpy, last year's Brachiosaurus, etc. Though I agree it could have been more accurate in sculpt and coloration. Hope it is better in the in hand/in package pic. Usually are.

Odd head aside that mystery figure is definitely a tyrannosaur of some kind. Heavily feathered too which is nice.

The T. rex looks nice but disappointed they are still giving it the pale jaw.

Very interested to learn the identity of this theropod.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Definitely getting a bird of prey/eagle vibe from the Theri's face. Much better than the old one.

I like the Biosyn vehicle. Looks like even the HW one you can put figures in so that's cool.  A JP/JW line needs three things at the least for me. Humans, Dinosaurs, vehicles.

Those clown feet and short tail are really hard to swallow for the HC raptor...
Seems to be just a shrunken down AC sculpt too...

Couldn't Mattel have engineered something better for a supposed "adult-oriented" line?

suspsy

It appears to be a tyrannosaur, but I know not of one with such a boxy head.

The mystery theropod is intriguing. Looks like it has feathers too. The Dimetrodon is a huge improvement over the last, I'll definitely get this one.

The only one I could think of is the erroneous, outdated reconstruction of Teratophoneus (to which the BotM figure unfortunately uses as well)
It's around small enough for Mattel to include it in the Attack Pack size range too, considering Alioramus's inclusion.

avatar_Flaffy @Flaffy Yeah it 100% is a shrunk down AC raptor. It is really disappointing for me, but well this isn't news to me either. Caught it during the Beyond the Gates reveal for the Parasaurolophus and Baryonyx.

May as well repost these again:

Also if that Teratophoneus guess could be right, it would be a shame that they did not use the established design in FK, even if it was a corpse and all. Wish they just would have revealed what it was to begin with though.
