Allosaurus must be a new sculpt, it's quite a bit larger. I'll get it and the new Raptor there, I need one to repaint into Echo since it seems like we aren't going to get one in this sculpt any time soon.

GojiraGuy1954

Added the Extreme Damage set and Super-Colossal Brachiosaurus to the OP. Thinking of merging the new(?) ocean protector mosa into Super-Colossal itself.

Another bittersweet update from Andy, Mattel has retracted the copyright claims from his channel after talking with him but unfortunately YouTube has still not responded even with Mattel reversing the strikes and the deadline is Monday. Do your freaking job YouTube.

Shadowknight1

If the actual product looks as good as the product images, that might be the best Allosaurus made by Mattel thus far.
I'm excited for REBOR's Acro!  Can't ya tell?

Faelrin

Unfortunate if his channel still goes under despite the strikes being retracted. In any case I got all (I hope) 2019 vids downloaded now. Got the weekend (such as tomorrow) to try to get the 2020 ones and rest of 2021's saved.

How many years worth of videos does he have?

Faelrin

From late 2017 to early 2022. We're also talking about nearly a video daily, or two, so it's a ton. I've got good progress, but with two days left, I still have a lot to get left, and can hopefully do it.

On behalf of all thanks for doing your massive part to save Andy's legacy so now that everything's been sorted out you can take a well deserved breather.

D @Dynomikegojira Yeah I am so relieved for him. I will still work on backing his stuff up, god forbid anything like this happens again it'll be kept safe, but like you said I can take a break for the meantime, and don't have to worry about a two day left deadline to get everything left!

Edit: For the curious my 2019 folder had a total of 1,292 files, 404 thumbnail pics, 444 vids, and 444 txt files containing descriptions. Total folder size was over 53.6 gigs and will be transferred to my new terabyte external hard drive for safe keeping.
Edit 2: For anyone curious I've made an instagram post sharing some of my other thoughts on this, and it showcases how much space on my terabyte is used for everything I've backed up from Andy's channel onto it.

Gotta say, I don't know where I'd display it, it might just have to migrate around my room, but that Allosaurus looks amazing for a toy.

Flaffy

Is that a new rex head sculpt? I haven't gotten any of their big rexes since the Thrash n' Throw, and had been waiting for a "definitive" version from Mattel all this time.

Faelrin

avatar_Flaffy @Flaffy It is a repaint of last year's sculpt, which in itself is a retool of the EC T. rex we've had for years now.

I'm hoping the upcoming Hammond Collection T. rex is the definitive one. Otherwise I'm quite satisfied with the Epic Roarin' and last year's Legacy EC one that nails the coloration, or is the closest we've had yet.

Ah, poop. Well I'm not surprised, rex sells and Mattel's gonna squeeze every last penny out of that mold (meanwhile only giving certain notoriously hard to find species a SINGLE, poorly-distributed release ::)).

Thanks for the clarification avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin ! Looking forward to seeing how the Hammond Collection rex looks too, hopefully the clown feet won't be too noticeable on that one.

CityRaptor

Probably.

Hmm, looking at the new Extreme Damage Raptor, is anyone else getting reminded of the Primeval ones?
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no
