The Lystrosaurus is the most exciting one of the bunch.

Miserable blind bag scummery. Two packs and they still feel the need to do this.

Spoiler
I'm so glad to see a Gallimimus mini after all these years. I'm gonna need all of those. Glad to see the Lystrosaurus will have a mini figure. Can't wait to see it in the new film, and hopefully a larger mainline figure too. I'm guessing this is just for the first wave. Really hope they do a mini of the Pyroraptor later too.

Edit: I like that the Baryonyx and Iguanodon mini come together in a pack considering they co-existed after all.

So it's looking like they are starting to make the minis more "in scale" to each other? Like the raptor "Blue", Lystrosaurus, and Gallimimus, etc. are all relatively smaller in size? I quite like that.

Also, the pose on that mini Trike is cool and reminds me of that unreleased 'The Lost World' prototype Triceratops toy.

suspsy

Did we already know about a Lystrosaurus in the main assortment? I guess this means there will be one. It really amazes me how Mattel has beaten out all our favourite companies to the punch for a ton of prehistoric animals. Lystrosaurus is the most successful vertebrate of all time in that it accounted for 95% of them on the entire damn planet for a time, yet we haven't had a single proper toy of it to date. I'll buy a Mattel version out of principle if nothing else.

These look great! I haven't picked up any Mattel minis in a long time but these might change that.

Faelrin

avatar_suspsy @suspsy Yeah the only other figures of it I can think of is the Kaiyodo one (which I have), and the one Paleo-Creatures one. Really hoping the distribution on it is good. Been wanting a Mattel figure of it since the animatronic was revealed (which was also back when I was still playing Ark, and had a bunch of the little guys).

Hoping those paint schemes improve in the final product (as they often do with Mattel), although I hate to see that stupid Raptor mold making a comeback. That being said, I'm as excited as the next guy to see Kosmoceratops getting some attention but it seems a stretch to include it in the legacy line. I mean, what? We saw a skeletal mount of it in Lockwood's estate? I don't know, seems like they're grasping at straws with that one, and that's when we still have a handful of unrepresented flesh and blood dinosaurs from past  films.

suspsy

Lumping Kosmoceratops into Legacy is an odd choice, but whatever.

That is just Clementino's usual old junk with some JW stuff slapped on the packaging. The had a set involving these 2 and their Triceratops for the previous movie. Companies have been pulling that stuff for decades.
Only good thing about that packaging is the glimpse at Pyroraptor.

I think we need to split this thread since that and the Smithonian stuff is not Mattel.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Yes, they are the same glow-in-the-dark skeletons from their normal line. I've just bought my children the triceratops and the tyrannosaurus. They are pretty fun to dig and mount. But my block was as hard as stone, using the plastic tools that came inside did leave just a small mark on them! So I gave my 5 year old girls a normal hammer and a wide-top and short wide flat screwdriver, and they used them very efectively!
