Well, it turns out that Mojo Fun does technically have some brand new prehistoric figures in store for 2024. Like those from CollectA and Papo, the miniatures in this tube are all based on preexisting larger figures, and older ones at that. You’ve got Ankylosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Mandschurosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Pteranodon, Smilodon, Spinosaurus, Stegosaurus, Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus rex, Velociraptor, and the woolly mammoth.

The Pteranodon and Iguanodon are clearly Knockoffs of the Safari Ltd´s!
Looking at the extant tubes, several figures seem to be borrowed from other companies. Some of the insects, for example, are by Toy Major.
This does not mean they are ‘knockoffs’, which usually infers they were used without permission. Mojo may had made a formal agreement with Safari, etc. to use some of their sculpts.
Even if they had an agreement with Safari Ltd., Mojo has a perfectly decent Mandschurosaurus model of their own they could have shrunk down instead of an Iguanodon sculpt that’s 20+ years old. Then again most of the other figurines in here are based on some of Mojo’s own oldest and weakest figures. It’s a weird set.
Do we even know that’s supposed to be Mandschurosaurus? Or was that a ‘DTB editorial’ claim?
More curious than anything; I don’t get Mojo alerts.
I am disappointed that the mandschurasaurus is a safari ltd mini iguanodon knockoff
