The fine folks at Everything Dinosaur have officially revealed a brand spanking new range of prehistoric figures!

Done in collaboration with paleontologist Dean Lomax, paleoartist Bob Nicholls, and digital designer Glen Southern, Evolution will offer 1:33 scale animals that strive to be as scientifically accurate as possible. First up will be the undisputedly greatest of all dinosaurs, Tyrannosaurus rex.

More information can be found here (no word yet on price or release date). Note the teases for Anzu, Edmontosaurus, and Triceratops in the image above. Exciting times indeed!

Interesting project – I hope that the prices won’t be prohibitive. At this point we need to see better, clearer, closeup photos of this TRex’s head.
They have given the lower jaw a thicker configuration (good), with an unusual looking front that bears closer examination.
I dearly hope that it’s just the dark photos that make the teeth look blunted. This simple detail could torpedo this figure’s appeal if it’s not fixed.
Otherwise, the body reconstruction is dead-on 100% accurate based on what we know as of today. Fingers crossed that they pull this off.
Please, make a good Chasmosaurus and Lambeosaurus, we still need them 🙂 And hypsilophodontids! Where are all hypsilophodontids?..
PNSO has made a good Lambeosaurus and Haolonggood has made a good Chasmosaurus…
well, yes, they made Lambeosaurus, but the color pattern… it’s so unrealistic… I can’t believe that huge animal would have this kind of coloring in real life.
and Chasmosaurus by Haolonggood is good, I have it! But the coloring again… it looks like a missed opportunity – Chasmosaurus have so big flat crest on the head, it’s crying for being vividly colored, but no 🙁
Now I want to live in the UK…
