Shrek 4 is an underrated masterpiece

The white spots in the centre of the jugals make my brain interpret them as ears with earholes!

Halichoeres

Remember that this is before the nocturnal bottleneck that is thought to have robbed mammals of full-color vision, so you should feel free to go nuts on color. If the jugals were skin-covered they could be blue or green or red or whatever you want.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

That's a useful reminder avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres. I might be getting something printed up in the future.

For europeen buyer the majungasaurus is available on everythingdinosaur.com.
I've already order it with the diplodocus from rebor.
Happy to see that we won't wait to long this year.
Man is only interested in what he invents while what surrounds him is made in a much more extraordinary and complex way

Yes that's good news for the Utah and the  Estemmenosuchus, we probaly won't have to wait as long, the delay issue was hopefully addressed.

Are we getting another reveal this month, S @Shane?

There are a couple more prehistoric reveals on the horizon but I don't know for certain if they'll be happening this month or not.

SpartanSquat

I have a feeling these prehistoric reveals are from dino dana line, weird we dont have any reveals from this year.

suspsy

Dino Dana the show is over and done with now, isn't it?
Untitled by suspsy3, on Flickr

SpartanSquat

Yeah I saw th show ended 3 years ago and weird safari is still releasing stuff related with the show. Maybe this year we will only have prehistoric beast from the normal line and not from dino dana, like 2021 releases

Gwangi

Dino Dana ended in 2020 with the movie. And then Safari released the Dino Dana T. rex in 2021. It has always seemed odd to me that Safari is making merchandise for a television show that is no longer in production.

Faelrin

Only thing I can think of is production delays. I mean there were figures based on species from the movie that released last year, and were brand new sculpts, not just repaints like the previous 2021 ones were. Definitely odd timing. That said at least we finally got a really nice figure of Zuul out of it.

I think it might also be a little different with young childrens' programming since there are always kids growing into and out of the age demographic. It probably doesn't matter as much if they're coming out with new episodes since the kids watching now weren't watching it when they were.

This thought did occur to me. In the U.S. Dino Dana is exclusive to Amazon Prime and one of their flagship kid series. I imagine that it will remain that way for awhile even though there are no new episodes.

Here's everything still currently offered on Safari Ltd's website at this time. This is continuation/revision of this post here. Figured it would be of more use in this particular thread instead.

Marked the ones still in need of a major update in red, and those which have since been updated, but still have older models sold in purple. Some of these had the unfortunate timing of having (minor or major) elements become outdated because of papers released shortly after they were revealed or released, so were sculpted in advance, so I've left notes with papers when applicable, and colored the names in green. Although Safari Ltd's figures have no designated scale/all over the place, I've given some notes as the current market tends to revolve around 1:35 more or less.

Currently only includes those for the Prehistoric World line (I'll expand with Great Dinos and Dino Dana, and recently retired figures after):

Edit: If there's any mistakes, please let me know, or any important papers that have come out recently for any of the genera above, let me know so I can add them. I only added what I remembered at the time.

Edit 2: Fixed Mosasaurus name, removed small from Ceratosaurus.

1. The blue Safari mosasaur is labelled Mosasaurus.

2. The Safari Ceratosaurus isn't small.  It's about double the size of the Battat Ceratosaurus which was 1:35 scale.

3. The Safari Archaeopteryx doesn't have incorrect wing anatomy or incorrect placement of the first toes.

The safari is only slightly bigger, I wouldn't say its double the size of the battat.

Sim

I wouldn't say the Safari is slightly bigger, it's quite a bit bigger than the Battat.  The point is it's larger than 1:35 scale and not small.
