Yes, they are! And it's one of the most beautifully sculpted dromaeosaurids I've ever seen.

Yes, the head shot shows that off to perfection.

The arrival of the day!

Linheraptor exquisitus
Sculptor and painter : Cen DaoYi
Scale: 1/3
Size: 26.3" L(680MM) X 13.4" H(340MM)
Limited 36 Pieces (n.09/36)

Majestic!

There was two other versions with different color schemes and, above all, a beautiful "Queen" variant, probably one of the most beautiful animal or dinosaur sculptures ever made... unfortunately, it's inaccessible... there are only 10 of them, which had been "reserved" by Cen Daoyi's best buyers at the astronomical price of $2,000!!!

Other versions :

Bread

Holy guacamole!

An absolute beauty! Probably my favorite dromaeosaur model I've ever seen.

I do prefer your piece over the brighter variant. I've always loved snow leopards and this definitely reminds me of one. Bravo!

Fenestra

I agree with Bread. I find your piece the most appealing out of the three you're showing. What a wonderful paint job and statue.
Congratulations.

Hello friends! ;D
It's been a long time! A few pieces have arrived in the collection in recent months:

MK Studio Dakotaraptor (scale 1/20)

Cryolophosaurus
SenSen (sculpt and paint)
Scale : 1/10
N°21/45

I had to be very patient for this one! Presented as a prototype in 2021, it was immediately sold out! Fortunately, my friends from LanaTimeShop were able to save one for me! And more than 2 years have passed since then! I don't know why it took so long, but the result is there! It's gorgeous!

It's a special model because Sen Sen offered a little gold tablet to present the animal in addition to the traditional card. Another little bonus: Sen Sen offered two different crests (magnetized) that can be interchanged!

The statue is almost 60 cm long, so it's a big one! It now sits proudly at the center of the collection! With the Cryolophosaurus from LINGHU ART STUDIO, I now have two beautiful representations of this specie.

Barbaridactylus
Artist : Vlad Konstantinovy / Showanna Studio
Painted by jiaxiaoliang123456
Scale : 1/6

AOKHAN Yutyrannus
Scale : 1/20

I really wanted to have a resin model of Yutyrannus. I only had the PNSO pvc model.
I didn't hesitate when this one came out in 2022. The paintwork is relatively simple, but realistic and effective with that little snow effect on the body. The small curiosity was the addition of this lizard in bright bluish colors ^^.

And here is part of the collection in November 2024:

Yes, I've had a lot of pterosaurs in the last few months, especially the big ones from Msee Studio shown here ^^

However, the rhythm of buying has slowed down a little recently... but I still have a few nice things coming up before the end of the year.
I'm finally going to get the full SenSen river scene, and this is probably one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen:

The famous Chinese painter Yesen has finished painting my Aric Zhang/David Krentz Zuchentyrannus vs Sinoceratops! I will FINALLY have it soon during December :

While I may never venture into resin statues myself, your curated selection is top-notch. That's a collection that would make anyone envious!

The pterosaur is amazing. Is that an Enchodus it's preying on? Is it identified?
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Well, that's a very good question, because no, the fish wasn't identified.

At first I thought it was a Xiphactinus, but I'm not sure that's consistent with the Barbaridactylus's living areas (inland sea in America for the fish vs. North Africa for the Pterosaurs). Enchodus could be a good candidate!

ceratopsian

Such beauties!  Thanks for showing them to us.

crazy8wizard

I think that fish is considerably too small to be Xiphactinus and the skull isn't the right shape.

Congrats on your new acquisitions! Love that Yutyrannus in particular.  :)

It's good to see an update on your collection, I remember it. I see it's as mighty as ever.

Out of curiosity, how do you handle dust in an open collection like yours?

The room has very few passages, so dust accumulates very slowly. But I use microfiber cloths + a soft brush and a small air compressor. As most of my pieces are quite large, it's a little less fastidious than if it were 300 1/35 or 1/40, but it still is lol

An amazing and very refined collection with only top quality pieces. It is such collections which are built based on an esthetic philosophy that are truly inspiring.

SenSx

It's like a museum, must have cost a fortune.

What do you mean by that? I'm not sure I get what you're trying to say there.

BrontoScorpio

That collection is amazing.
And expensive too ...
But how difficult it is if you find yourself with an urge to rearrange those models ... :)
Almost every single piece is a heavy weight.

I mean that the room is rarely visited. Of course I spend some time there, but it's not as if the collection were in a living room or bedroom, where there's a lot of movement, pets, open windows, which accelerates the accumulation of dust.

paleochris

Thank you all for your kind messages!
Yes, it's true that collecting is very expensive, but I'm really lucky to have been able to invest so much in this hobby. But as I've already said, there are also less expensive collections based only on PVC figurines, which are very beautiful and inspiring. I have a lot of PNSO, because I love the realism of this brand, and I so wish that the realism, the details, would improve even further on inexpensive figurines. Scotty from Showana, the T Rex in PVC, is paving the way for unprecedented quality in PVCs under 100 dollars, and I hope this will continue.

They're very heavy, yes, and above all there's the fear of falling out and breaking them!!! so I'm always very nervous when I handle them! and I avoid doing it as much as possible!
