Fans can change things at times.  They heard it and were able to alter it this time. Good on them.

Flaffy

I still don't have a lot of faith in the HC Dimetrodon considering how the HC junior rex turned out...

The lack of wrist articulation is still perplexing, and the blunted oversized teeth are very disappointing.

Prehistory Resurrection

New reveal from Mattel; meet Mega Roar Blue, an electronic Velociraptor Blue toy;

It stands at nearly 8 inches tall and comes with an accessory snack; a steak. It even burps on command. Reminds me of the Camp Cretaceous Feeding Frenzy Indominus Rex.
Available to pre-order now on Amazon, no ETA yet;

Blade-of-the-Moon

After the dismal sales of those last versions i figured they were done with this range.

Faelrin

I think the 2019 Primal Pal Blue is better. Better paintwork, glass eyes that looked nice. It also had those adorable baby raptor sounds. I'm pretty sure I got one for my nieces way back. I got them the Indominus rex one too.

CityRaptor

Hmm, the previous ones seemed to take inspirations from Snap Squads. This one looks more like the Micro Collection.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Closer look at the upcoming Hammond Collection Carnotaurus. This is definitely one of Mattel's best sculpts. The paint job is screen accurate too. Far better than the original Roarivores version (Edit: Action Attack version, thanks avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin).  All in all, a home run for Mattel.

Carnoking

Maybe I'm biased, but this is easily one of the best looking toys Mattel has ever made!

Lynx

That's incredible! It's the only Carnotaurus I've seen IMO that was better than the original Mattel one when it comes to JW toys.
An oversized house cat.

Gwangi

I can't wait! I've been waiting for a Carnotaurus since the line began. I haven't bought a Carnotaurus since the original when Fallen Kingdom was released. This figure looks fantastic too, it might dethrone the Ceratosaurus as my favorite HC figure.

Faelrin

Definitely feels like an upgrade over the 2018 figure and so on. That said that figure is still one of my favorites in this line to this day. I also slightly prefer the white arms (with no elbows too) of the original even if this is more film accurate. Can't wait to get this one next year. I really hope this guy can be put into JWE2's sitting posture.

It's currently on sale for Target's pre-order (20% off), and estimated ship date is January.

avatar_Prehistory Resurrection @Prehistory Resurrection The original was Action Attack (medium-large not electronic) not a Roarivores (medium electronic).

That January release date is the nicest drop of frosting on an already amazing dessert. Easily getting a pair of these things. What a masterpiece of a figure.

Yeah, in this case I think we could have done without elbow articulation. The arms on the Action Attack are superior.

Nobs

In the Carnotaurus video, if you skip ahead to about 4:30.
Do you notice that dino in the background!

They have the shot with the unreleased blue in the foreground, the carno in the middle of the shot, and that large theropod in the background.
It looks too green to be the current HC rex.

Faelrin

N @Nobs Hate to disappoint, but that is most definitely the brownish JP T. rex, rather it be the original or the revised version with brighter paint apps and better glass eyes that was released this year. I would suggest checking on the color settings on your device, if it appeared green to you.

Flaffy

Wow! The Carnotaurus looks amazing! Like avatar_Gwangi @Gwangi I only have the original JWFK Carnotaurus, so I'm glad I decided to hold off on the mainline repaints of this dinosaur. The HC one is just so much more accurate to the film design!

A major gripe I have with the figure though are the oversized arms... Mattel proudly stated in the BTG video that they had access to ILM models, so why did they screw up the proportions here? They could've easily gotten away with excluding elbow-articulation on the figure, which would've resulted in a far cleaner presentation. The lack of wrist articulation on the Dimetrodon also comes to mind when it comes to Mattel's perplexing design choices.

Well, it looks nothing like Guaibasaurus that's for sure. Works as a Coelophysoid though, I remember suggesting Zupayasaurus being a stand-in for it?
