Makes sense, especially since there are a couple of compies included.

It lokks like a mix of the two. It's got the old body, but the new one's head.

That's the old head, just with lips now.

The Dr. Wu set is unveiled on Mattel Creations now. Comes with Mr. DNA, and a cardboard display, yeah. It's also $30. I only put $30 on the one card, and like I'm just shy of having enough for shipping and tax, unless a miracle happens.

Mr. DNA makes it tough to pass up, but I'm not a huge fan of the Wu figure. The likeness is okay, though it looks more like B.D. Wong today, rather than B.D. Wong 30 years ago. The head shape is a bit weird too...too square maybe?

Also I'm not a huge fan of the packaging as playset idea that Mattel loves doing with Creations sets. But your mileage may vary there.

S @Shane Feel the same about Dr. Wu. Certainly could have had a better likeness to young BD Wong, and feels kind of a bit overpriced when the bulk is just cardboard anyways, although it does look like it includes a light up feature, so that's probably where some of the budget of the set went, other then Mr. DNA. That said, I really do like the inclusion of Mr. DNA though. Somehow I didn't even expect that, although makes sense to include it since it featured slightly before Dr. Wu's scene.

Well, Mattel Creations now states that they now ship to my country ::) Taxes are also included in the price and supposedly the shipping is just 10€, which wold make this 45€ in total...

I don't know honestly, yeah I kinda want a Wu figure, but like, a regular HC release would have been enough...I´m just tired of exclusives in general.

Also when the heck is BBTS gonna stock the new Hammond Collection figures?! I´m legit scared, it has been more than a month since Owen and Blue were announced, I don't care for them, but they fact that they are not in BBTS is very concerning for future releases, the Carnotaurus...

Flaffy

I really hate the cardboard packaging doubling as accessories. They're not at all durable, severely limits play value, and just strikes me as extremely cheap of Mattel to do. Would've gladly sacrificed some mainline Generic Theropod #5238 releases if it meant allocating plastic to make these exclusive sets more substantial.

Blue and Owen are going to be 2024 releases so rest assured, BBTS did not forget about the Hammond Collection.

If only we had an actual plastic egg incubator accessory like the cancelled Lab Playset. I still don't understand why Mattel constantly cheaps out on these...
