It should, right? Otherwise I don't get why it was on the list to begin with.  ???

Regarding the repaints for ceratopsians in the cyberzoic part 2, from what I've heard from the stream, the triceratops is also supposed be in part 2 and will get an update to and will likely see the cyberzoic trex in part 2 perhaps as well with the new updated neck articulation.

Also will probably hear more about the cyberzoic part 2 Kickstarter in 2025 I'd suspect.

Regarding the Stegosaurs, don't worry guys, David already mentioned them on the Stream. Although it wasn't very clear if we'll get them in CZ2 or in CZ3. David also mentioned in facebook a while ago that he'd like to do a Dacentrurus, and I don't know how confirmed it is but I'd love to see that.
About Cryolophosaurus, David said that all of the figures in the OG list are still planned but some of them for quite far along. So at worst, we should be able to get the Cryolophosaurus in CZ3.
Now about Allosaurus Fragilis, if I remember correctly David confirmed it for CZ2.
And regarding the Ceratopsians, David also mentioned them in the Stream (Ross went as far as mentioning the Pentaceratops). Triceratops for example is confirmed to come for Cyberzoic II but it'll be "updated", David mentioned giving it a new scaly frill given that they found frill skin impressions with scales and the queratined face reconstruction got outdated.
Although tbh, I wish that the other Ceratopsians could come straight to Pre-Order given that most of them are just repaints and small figures so they shouldn't be too expensive to produce. And specially so David can focus the Kickstarter in funding the brand new figures since those are the most expensive to create.
Also I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the Ankylosaurs, since David said more than once that he's interested in doing them for Cyberzoic III and that those are some of the most popular herbivorous Dinosaurs. I personally hope that we at least get 2-3 of them. Ankylosaurus offcourse given that it is the biggest and most popular, Saichania maybe because David already made one, and if there could be a third one then Euoplocephalus or Tarchia could be great options.

Holy mackerel! Thanks for the info D @David96 That's awesome and incredible  news whoa!! For stegosaurids Dacentrurus would be awesome! Also all the other stegosaurids confirmed are going to be awesome to see in the upcoming line up of figures.

Also for hadrosaurs Cryolophosaurus sounds cool, and really hope to see Leonardo the mummified hadrosaur for the line, the Brachylophosaurus which has a lot of preserved impressions and had a cool row of frill like spikes that were uniquely shaped and really cool looking, looked similar to the spines on the kaiju yongary from 1967.

Also that's really awesome to hear about the triceratops getting an updated frill, would be cool if the creative beast studios made a triceratops prorsus for the new updated version. Also 100% true on that since most are repaints, Hopefully for some at least do.

Also on the topic of the ankylosaurs a Saichania would be epic to see! Also same for the Euoplocephalus, and Tarchia. Also zuul would be awesome to see as well and anodontosaurus, and even Stegouros. Also other nodosaurids would be cool as well like borealpelta.

The gallery for the Carnotaurus has been shared on the Creative Beast social media accounts.

QuoteStill getting caught up over here on the Cyberzoic photos. With all that was going in the final week of the Kickstarter, I wasn't able to get the Carnotaurus prototype photos finished, but I have them now- hope you enjoy!

Here's some pics (more on the FB of course):

I really want to have mine posed in the goofy Prehistoric Planet mating dance, lol, if not the adorable JWE2 sitting pose.

If David will be updating the Triceratops's frill, I'm hopeful he'll correct the Zhenyuanlong's proportions if he makes it in 1:18 scale.

Wow! Those carno pics really showcase how awesome and detailed the figure is, looks really phenomenal.

Pretty awesome how articulated it is as well.
Also  the paint scheme of the carno also reminds me A lot of a hatchling or juvenile dumerils monitor lizard

Pliosaurking

This has to be the best Carnotaurus on the market! What a beaut!

D @David96 Thank you for sharing those news!

Quote from: David96 on November 09, 2023, 12:46:23 AMDavid also mentioned in facebook a while ago that he'd like to do a Dacentrurus, and I don't know how confirmed it is but I'd love to see that.

Well, I hope he won't make Dacentrurus, as it's quite fragmentary and its close relative, more well-known Miragaia is confirmed already. Speaking of which, the longer Miragaia is put off, the better for now: the more time for "The Miragaia Project" to present the results of their work. That could mean David could take into consideration a potential new reconstruction when sculpting that species, so it doesn't become obsolete like the Eotyrannus.

Plenty of more worthy animals to tackle instead, including Gallimimus which I recall was featured in some Cyberzoic art already.

What a fantastic model of the meat eating bull! Eagerly awaiting the BotM colour scheme before making a final decision, but I am definitely adding one of these beauts to my collection!

One of the few scenarios where I'll conceded shelf space for two. There's a certain Prehistoric Planet scene worth recreating here!

avatar_Cenozoic Fauna @Cenozoic Fauna Thanks for the positive reply :), and big agree about Cryolophosaurus for Hadrosaurs. Also very cool fact about the mummified Hadrosaur, did't knew about it until now!!! And for Cyberzoic David shown the Iguanodon for a Desert Clan Concept Art and he mentioned some times that he'd like to do a Parasaurolophus so we should confidently get those two. All the better for me because those are two of my favorites, although I'd like to see Edmontosaurus and Ouranosaurus just as much. If not for Cyberzoic for BotM would be enough. Also maybe some small Hadrosaurs to see some more variety, Tenontosaurus and Dryptosaurus would be very nice to see.
Also huge agree about Zuul and Stegouros , specially the latter since it was found in Latin America which is where I leave. Imho more small animals would be awesome, they would both add variety to the line and be great options for customers on a budget. Also regarding more Nodosaurs I'd totally agree, although I'd probably pick Polacanthus as my first option. Anyways, for me the more thyreophorans we get the better :)

avatar_Concavenator @Concavenator Thanks for the positive reply :) Regarding Dacentrurus tbh I quite agree because as much as I'd like to see another large Stegosaurid I'd also prefer that David stays away from the most fragmentary animals, precisely for the reasons that we know. And about Miragaia I'm anticipating that one a lot so I hope that new material can come about it soon. However, curiously enough, what you said about Miragaia is pretty much how I feel about Spinosaurus. I'm happy that David is holding it back to CZ3 because if it changes shape again he'll be on time to correct it. Who knows, maybe even he could launch the first Spinosaurus figure with the latest morph haha. Finally, regarding Gallimimus I wouldn't honestly worry much since David mentioned already that it will come for Cyberzoic and also it's a pretty popular species. So I'd be quite confident that we will get it ;)

Guys my new card came. Fingers crossed this means I can make it out to Legions Con tomorrow. Just need to speak to my family and see if they'll be alright with it. I will definitely bring my 2018 Mattel Carnotaurus for a size comparison with the Cyberzoic one. I wish I had the new Hammond Collection one on hand though, but it will be a bit before I worry about picking that one up.

Anything you'd guys like to see in particular assuming I have it on hand? See my collection thread here, which shows most of what I own (though due note some of my Mattel, and most of my BotM ceratopsians and raptors are in storage).

Edit: I think I'm gonna bring the 1/6 Velociraptor (or Dromaeosaurus, which do you guys prefer?) and my Neca American Werewolf figure as well (comparison between the Smilodon). Assuming David is fine with this, but he always was in the past. Maybe the Amber Collection Dilophosaurus to see side by side with the Cyberzoic Dilophosaurus prototype as well. Don't want to go too overboard though.

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin Well, in case you're able to go, I'd highly appreciate more pics of the Allosaurus, Carnotaurus, Deinonychus and maybe Dilophosaurus, but please without any armor on, if possible.

It would be cool to see the Cyberzoic Deinonychus alongside Safari's as well, in case you could bring it there.  :)

P.S. Also, would it be an indiscretion if you could perhaps ask David what species are likely to receive the 1:35 treatment in the future??

avatar_Concavenator @Concavenator Yeah that's a good suggestion.

Edit: Any more calls before I go tomorrow? Just hoping I can get a ticket. I asked both on the kickstarter and the Legion Con instagram. My brother agreed to take me tomorrow. This is the miracle I needed to be honest.

Ah, for sure. You'll make us a great favor if you can take the pictures there, if you are in the FB group people there would appreaicate them a lot aswell. I personally have waited several days to see the booth and all of the painted prototypes right there so it surprises me to not see plenty of pictures like in PowerCon (specially considering that there the prototypes weren't painted yet there). Now regarding particular requests you pretty much read my mind with the Carnotaurus, I remember liking that figure back then in 2018 and even seeing it as bigger than I expected. Now this one is 3.5 inches longer so it must tower over it!!! A Carnotaurus figure which is that big and paleo accurate is a dream come true for a Carno fan!!! Other than that maybe I'd like a comparison with the large Roaring Allosaurus figure if you have it, to measure the big Al's. No pressure though, if you can take pictures of the whole collection like the ones we had for PowerCon that'd be more than enough for me  :))

Faelrin

The Extreme Damage one? I have it on hand, but it will be too big for my little bag unfortunately. I'll definitely grab as many pics of everything as I can.
