1:35 scale

1:35 scale appears to be very popular so I'm interested in collecting these. Nanmu, W-Dragon and I'm sure many others are doing figures in this scale. Is there a compiled list anywhere of figures available at this scale?

Yeah, in particular: https://dinotoycollector.com/Browse/Browse.php?Scale=35

Depending on how particular you are about scale, you might want to know that a lot of things marketed as 1:35 are really more like 1:25 or 1:30.

Safari Ltd has many figures at 1:35 scale. Particularly the Allosaurus (2019), Ankylosaurus (2018), Concavenator (2020), Diabloceratops (2013), Dilophosaurus (2020), Edmontosaurus (2020), Qianzhousaurus (2020), Sarcosuchus (2020), Spinosaurus (2019), Stegosaurus (2018), Triceratops (2018), and (Feathered) Tyrannosaurus (2017). There may be others, but these are the ones I'm positive about since the sculptor of these, Doug Waston, has specified as such on the forum here (which I compiled together here: http://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=3118.msg256477#msg256477 ). It would be worth seeing avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres response to me in that thread as well for some additional scales.

I know the Papo Allosaurus and (2020) Spinosaurus are about 1/35 scale as well. The Wild Past Protoceratops is intended to be 1/35 scale as well. Eofauna's Deinotherium, Giganotosaurus, and Palaeoxodon are all intended to be 1/35 scale as well. PNSO also has numerous models intended to be 1/35 scale such as their Amargasaurus, Spinosaurus, etc.

I think some of Rebor's may be a little bit off. If I recall correctly there was discussion ways back about their Deinonychus clan being too large, and their recent Titanoboa certainly seems to be too long to be 1/35. Using the scale calculator on Dan's Dinosaurs website (http://stores.dansdinosaurs.com/scale-calculator/ ), the measurement of it from wikipedia, and rough measurements I took of the figure near straightened out, it seems to put it closer to 1:18 - 1:20 scale, rather then the intended 1:35 scale. I'm sure some of the members here could possibly come up with a better estimate though.

That's good to know because I recently purchased a few Nanmu figures, which are all 1:35 scale, so I'm looking for figures that will display well with them.

Really good info! I have some Nanmu 1:35 scale and looking for figures that will scale well with them.

The recently defunct Vitae line made some fine figures and several of them are at least nominally 1/35 scale, such as the Giganotosaurus and Sinraptor as well as the Sinoceratops.

CityRaptor

Tamiya has two series of model kits in that scale.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

I did not realize they were no longer around.  Sorry to hear that. I do not own any of there products, but I have seen them.

I haven't done any model kits before, but worth looking into. Thanks

Stegosaurus (2018)

That might be a typo, but the Safari 1:35 Stegosaurus is from 2019.

Faelrin

avatar_Sim @Sim Yeah it was a typo, sorry. I think I was kind of tired when I wrote that up.

What are everyone's favorite 1/35 figures? Either overall or per species?

If I had to do a top 12 1/35 scale dinosaur models in my collection right now, it would include (in no particular order):
1. Haolonggood Apatosaurus
2. PNSO Torosaurus
3. PNSO Giganotosaurus or Mapusaurus
4. PNSO Lingwulong
5. Haolonggood Megaraptor
6. Haolonggood Dilophosaurus
7. PNSO Deinocheirus
8. Haolonggood Dacentrurus
9. PNSO Parasaurolophus
10. PNSO Saurophaganax
11. PNSO Therizinosaurus
12. W-Dragon Giraffatitan

Halichoeres

My personal favorites are:

CollectA Xiphactinus
PNSO Helicoprion
PNSO Cretoxyrhina
Kaiyodo Metriorhynchus
Kaiyodo Plesiosaurus
Safari Camarasaurus
EoFauna Atlasaurus
Kaiyodo Pteranodon (Dinotales; the CapsuleQ versions are made to a smaller scale)

Concavenator

avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres Eofauna's sauropods are made at 1:40 scale.

TheCambrianCrusader

Dunno how strict you are with scale but 1:40 figures are pretty darn close to 1:35 and most of the older Carnegies and all of the Battat figures are 1:40. I do believe some 1:40 carnegies are actually closer to 1:35 like the giga, spino remake, and 99 rex. http://www.dinosaurmountain.net/ is THE essential database for carnegie figures if you're interested.

Pliosaurking

I definitely got to grab some kaiyodo figures at some point as they have a lot of very nice looking under represented species, that are in 1:35 scale. Particularly the Metriorhynchus and Eyrops. I definitely have to get some more small species in this scale.

These are actually figures in or very near 1:35 scale, not including figures advertised to be but not like some Rebor and Nanmu figures, which I do love but they aren't on this list.

My favourites that I own would have to be

1. Haolonggood x GR Toys Blue Carcharodontosaurus
2. Nanmu Orginal Spinosaurus standard version
3. PNSO Deinocherius
4. PNSO Tylosaurus
5. BOTM 1:35 WWD Rex
6. Rebor Retrosaur Californiacation Green Rex
7. Eofauna Straight Tusked Elephant
8. Haolonggood Ouranosaurus
9. Safari Triceratops 2018
10. PNSO Acrocanthosaurus

I do love all my 1:35 scale figures but there's far too many to list, especially in an ordered ranking, and These are definitely among my favourites.

Right, so is Safari's Camarasaurus. But for animals with as much individual variation as sauropods, 1:35 and 1:40 are pretty much indistinguishable.
