Seconded, has anyone found the pliosaur yet? I mean, it looks awful, but I still want it!

I haven't even seen the pliosaur. Does anyone even have a picture?

There's a pic upthread showing one pliosaur. There might be others as I noticed a different looking pliosaur toy in the background of one of the other pictures upthread.

Edit. This one:

Is this it? I don't have an Amazon acct since I don't think Jeff Bezos needs any more money. Hoping it will show up on a better site someday.

I think it is the same one, or at least a copy. The Gemini&Genius store page on Amazon has a few other TNG products but also quite a few knockoffs of more easily obtained figures like those from Papo and Schleich.

At this point the "Unending tedium" in the thread title feels less like it's about the topic's discussion and more like a descriptor for actually trying to purchase the figures anywhere.

That does look like it, but it's academic since the seller doesn't ship to the UK: "This item cannot be shipped to your selected delivery location. Please choose a different delivery location."

My partner has an Amazon acct. If you'd like I could have her order one and I could ship it to you. U.S.—->U.K. isn't cheap, but if it's worth it to you... I always thought country limitations on shipping were bogus. It's good to have international friends.

Thanks for the the generous offer but I'll bide my time. It isn't just the high shipping costs that put me off, I've also been been hit by hidden customs charges for deliveries from the US as well. And I'm not exactly itching to acquire this one in a hurry. ;)

I'm still waiting for the appearance of some more of their wonderful Cenozoic mammals. Hopefully something this year.

Has Musee made other prehistoric mammal models that TNG could reuse for molds? Because I think that's the only way they'll be any good!
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

There's a Mastodon. That seems to be it, at least for recent, available models.

Frankly, I'm waiting for them to resume their excellent Cenozoic mammalian line.

Agreed, So excited for the Arsinotherium.

Also, why is the name of this board so negative?

I think it was because of the continued arguing about whether or not TNG was a bootleg company got extremely tiresome.
Although it's also apt because actually finding the figures anywhere feels tedious too.
