Yeah, the minimum order quantity is something like 500 units. Not really feasible for someone operating out of a garage and maybe a storage unit. Near as I can figure their main retail outlet in Asia is Toys R Us. So if you're not Toys R Us, good luck!

I had hoped that Recur would turn up in Toys R Us stores in Canada, but that appears to have not been the case.

Yeah, the name is essentially just a license at this point, so different countries' Toys R Us stores are entirely independent from one another. Here in the States it's just the toy department at Macy's now.

Meanwhile, what the heck is "Aeolian pterosaur?"

If I had to guess a mis-translation? Here's a wikipedia page showing all the uses of this word though:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aeolian

Edit: Searching for the terms brings up some listings on Amazon and Aliexpress, so yeah probably what I thought.

Aeolus - ruler of the winds. Kinda makes sense, if you can't spell Quetzalcoatlus. I'm guessing that mighta been the case.
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

Some more pics of the above mini set (from both Recur's website, and their Amazon listing):

I think the Parasaurolophus is a brand new sculpt too?

They also have a set of marine and African savanna animals in this sort of thing. I particularly like the marine one, for all the colors and whatnot. I wonder if they would display nicely next to some of my Cambrian figures to give them a little more extra flair (even if they might consist of some extant corals and whatnot. I really like the rotini shaped thing there, reminds me of the Ediacaran Cloudina).

Technically a fictional hybrid including a mix of extant theropod and feline, but in case it is of interest (they also have a Pegasus, Chimera, and Cerberus that look pretty nice):

I'm really interested in that ocean set to use as a diorama for my marine reptiles. Also the dinosaur set seems a little bland if not for that impressive Azhdarchid

I'm familiar with the geological meaning for aeolian (and dimly the classical one), but it didn't compute for me here. But yeah, does seem to be a common enough way to sell Quetzalcoatlus.

Amazon may have and as someone residing in Asia, Recur has an official store on Taobao so I may be able to get it there.

May get the Rex as my last prehistoric animals figure indefinitely over the Eofauna since it may meet my scale needs better

DefinitelyNOTDilo

PaleoFiguras has posted some alleged upcoming recur figures, if that is indeed what they are then wow, what a glowup!

That Giganotosaurus is insane. If this is real, it's an instant buy for me. It even uses the tall spine hypothesis popularized by Dan Folkes!

Pliosaurking

That Giga is one of the best looking Gigan I've ever seen. If those are true I will definitely be buying that!

Those are very nice.... too bad there's no place to actually buy them in the West...

crazy8wizard

Oh wait, I can see the Giganotosaurus with the Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops in the background of the Therizinosaurus and Velociraptor photo. Seems convincing to me, but we'll see.

There is a photo of them in boxes, with the RECUR logo.

Primeval12

That dilo is gonna be an instant buy for me. It's absolutely gorgeous!

crazy8wizard

I also noticed the photo of the boxes that each of the figures have a name that ties back to a paleontologist.
Triceratops: Marsh- O.C. Marsh
Tyrannosaurus: Osborne- Henry Fairfield Osborne
Dimorphodon: Buckland- William Buckland
Brachiosaurus: Elmer- Elmer S Riggs
Mosasaurus: Huffman- corruption or mistranslation of John Leonard Hoffmann
Stegosaurus: Osnie- I think a corruption/nickname for Othniel as in Othniel Charles Marsh again
Velociraptor(?): Turner- Alan Turner (discoverer of the quill knobs on Velociraptor)

I'm interested to see the names for the other ones but my money is on Ruben for the Giganotosaurus!

Stegotyranno420

I cannot see the images of that one, would someone please post it.
Thank you

avatar_Stegotyranno420 @Stegotyranno420 Was actually coming here to do that. Give me a bit, and I'll edit them in.

Some things to note:

-The Velociraptor is colors are from the Jurassic World Dominion Pyroraptor, and suffers from wrist wing syndrome (as did the Pyroraptor).
-The names on the boxes allude to the paleontologists who discovered, described and/or named them, with the exception of the Brachiosaurus, Stegosaurus, and Velociraptor. Mosasaurus should be Hoffmann not Huffman, but simple typo. No idea where Elmer, Osnie, and Turner come from. Edit: I see avatar_crazy8wizard @crazy8wizard already has that covered above, so disregard.
-The Therizinosaurus has a Deinocheirus head, lol.

List of newly revealed figures:
-Carnotaurus (which looks excellent)
-Dilophosaurus
-Giganotosaurus
-Pachycephalosaurus
-Spinosaurus
-Stegosaurus
-Therizinosaurus
-Velociraptor
