That's weird; it was completely fine when I logged in literally yesterday. Now I'm getting a similar warning, though (using Brave browser).

Good to know it isn't just on my end, but to sad to see it still persists. Does anyone know of any email to contact him with or anything else? I think this is a pressing matter that he should be informed of.

Edit: Just in case he doesn't see my message sent on here.

I have his email as connected to the website; I could try shooting him a message through there if it hasn't been tried already.

Faelrin

avatar_Fembrogon @Fembrogon I would appreciate if you could do that.

It's the beginning of the month, I wonder if it's something as simple as a lapsed hosting payment.

I got a response from avatar_DinoToyCollector @DinoToyCollector, who had this to say:

QuoteThanks for letting me know about this.
This seems to be some serious issue. Gladly I made a full Backup some weeks ago...

I will try my best to fix it as soon as possible but this will not happen before Sunday.

Sounds like the website broke for real! Hopefully all will be well soon enough, though.

Faelrin

Well at least he is aware of it now. And he has a backup just in case it is needed. What a relief. Now the wait for it to be restored, but I can be patient. More of a break for me, despite the unfortunate circumstances behind it.

I'm guessing if he resorts to the backup that would mean the more recent entries would be lost? That would suck, but of course, it's nowhere near as bad as the site disappearing...

It is indeed reassuring he at least has that backup, and this situation probably goes to teach that it might help to do that backup more often, just in case something goes wrong? Of course, I have no clue how often he does that backup.

I also want to see the site working again, after this... Hopefully it works.

Faelrin

Probably but it's been slow going for me in the past few months getting stuff up there, so it won't be too much of a workload to do again if need be. I guess it's good I didn't get to adding all the new Paleozoo stuff yet too lol. Much preferrable then lost altogether.

It is with great pleasure that I can claim the DTC site is working again!  :)

Though as expected, the latest entries are missing. That includes HLG's Edmontosaurus, PNSO's Lufengosaurus, the new Papos, and I'm not sure if anything else. If you log in, you will also notice that both your collection and your wishlist aren't as up-to-date as they were before the site crashed. So you might want to touch them up a little.

In any case, still awesome news the site is working again!

Sim

Thanks for the update avatar_Concavenator @Concavenator, I had been wanting to use the site these last few days!

DinoToyCollector

Yes, the site is back working!
But not for too long. I will try my best to transfer everything to a new hoster ASAP. You can use the website until coming monday normally. I will do a full backup on sunday.
The recent backup we restored was from the 14th of march. Everything that was added after this ... well I hope there weren't to much changes  :-[

Concavenator

Thank you avatar_DinoToyCollector @DinoToyCollector !

And what will happen after Monday?

DinoToyCollector

avatar_Concavenator @Concavenator
I am currently working on solving this at this very moment :) I try to make it happen before monday.

Faelrin

Mr. Hammond, we are back in buisness!

avatar_DinoToyCollector @DinoToyCollector No worries. It was just the stuff avatar_Concavenator @Concavenator mentioned earlier, the PNSO Lufengosaurus, Haolonggood Edmontosaurus, and the new Papo figures I think. Certainly will hold off on re-adding those and any other updates until it is moved to the new host. Fingers crossed it all goes well.

The site is not working again for me. Is it because of the transfer to the new hoster? avatar_DinoToyCollector @DinoToyCollector

Exactly - step 1 is done and this is the waiting part. I will work hard on this weekend to make everything run smoothly.

DinoToyCollector

Allright. If you haven't noticed yet the site is almost as functional as before. There are some minor bugs that needs to be fixed.
Only things that are not working are the "Collection" and "Wishlist" section - I have some syntax error and finding the right semicolon drives me crazy. I did some huge improvements on the code itself. You won't notice, but I can manage the site much easier now.

So if you want to go ahead avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin with adding items at any time. The entries won't be deleted. If you encounter problems using the backend, please let me know. That's what I have not focused on yet.

Concavenator

Noticed Wild Past's web is down too.

The DTC site is still not fully recovered, hopefully it will all go well.

The site loads a heck of a lot faster for me now then it did before the new move.

Gonna work on adding the recent Haolonggood, PNSO, and Papo figures.

Edit: Currently working on an overhaul of the Haolonggood figures, but will add in the rest of the artist edition figures as well (Kosmoceratops, Sinoceratops, Chasmosaurus, etc). Updating product codes of the figures (when applicable), and have a new category for the Artist Edition figures.

Edit 2: Took a bit of a break to have dinner, and finish the Fallout series. Still gotta finish with the Haolonggood overhaul, and go from there.

Edit 3: Had a distraction with watching Godzilla 1954, but I'm back to work on it. Not sure for how much longer considering it is after 1:30 am now, but I've been going to bed even later as of late.

Edit 4: About halfway the update for the Haolonggood figures. Will need to do the rest, and the PNSO, Meng, etc tomorrow.
