Coming back to the comparison between the PNSO and the Haolonggood Camarasaurus, there is one aspect which as far as I know has not been discussed as of yet. Both the PNSO and the Haolongood Camarasaurus have a walking pose. I noticed already on the Haolonggood Alamosaurus and now also on the Camarasaurus that when viewed from the anterior to the posterior, the arms and legs are angled somewhat inward. The PNSO Camarasaurus appears to not shows this, at least not so clearly. But in view of observations from a number of sauropod tracks in the Morrison and elsewhere, sauropods must have angled their arms and legs inward when they walked, because otherwise the hand and foot prints would not be as close to the midline of the tracks as they are found in the fossil record. The Haolonggood sauropod figures capture this feature better than the PNSO Camarasaurus.

I think this is because the PNSO Camarasaurus is not intended to be walking.
"Dinosaurs lived sixty five million years ago. What is left of them is fossilized in the rocks, and it is in the rock that real scientists make real discoveries. Now what John Hammond and InGen did at Jurassic Park is create genetically engineered theme park monsters, nothing more and nothing less."

Just a head's up if anyone ordered the PNSO Camara on Amazon with the discount, I received an email saying it's shipping and should arrive Sep 23 - Sep 29.

Probably this is the case, but nevertheless good to see that Haolonggood has taken into consideration that arms and legs of sauropods would angle inwards when they were walking.

random thing I noticed... the edmontasurus we got this year was on pnsos fb/twitter banner before it was announced.

The Camarasaurus has arrived today. A truly impressive figure. This really shows the potential that PNSO would have for producing large sauropods. But even figures of a size comparable to that of Camarasaurus and Lingwulong would be highly appreciated. There are many important genera that would be in that size range.

Good obervation. With all the paleoart PNSO creates in their books and images on social media it is hard to recognize the few true hints.

I'm glad they didn't go with this coloration for the edmonto, interesting to see the figure with a different paint scheme but I'm happy with what we got in the end.

There are so many sauropods in that size range that I adore! Cetiosaurus, Shunosaurus, Haplocanthosaurus, Dicraeosaurus,  Nemegtosaurus/Opisthocoelicaudia, Saltasaurus to name a few, as well as 'prosauropods' (yes, I know that's not the accurate name) in particular Plateosaurus & Riojasaurus!

Pinbacker

Mine shipped from Amazon today!

Blade-of-the-Moon

Mine says arriving Sunday.

I grow impatient... not seriously but kinda lol, do you think were getting a new figure tomorrow, Monday, or is pnso skipping this month

Sim

It feels like a long time since PNSO released a new figure.  I have to say I'm surprised PNSO has skipped some months this year.

thomasw100

This year PNSO has only released 6 figures. Though all of them have been of exceptional quality in my view. We have not seen a ceratopsian from PNSO in a long times as we have not seen a feathered dinosaur in a long time as well.

Sim

It's been an even longer time since PNSO released a nodosaurid.  And it's funny how PNSO started making lipped theropods again last year and there have been none this year from them so far.
