I've certainly seen plenty of reconstructions of Majungasaurus that do not give the hands pronounced claws since the fingers are so atrophied. I've even seen a couple that get really speculative and just encase the whole hand in a flesh mitten, thus giving the walking sausage more sausages for arms.

This apparently was the case and Lana Time Shop offered to cancel the order with full refund or continue with the order but have more protective packing adding. I was lucky and my copy did not have the slightest fracture or damage despite this shipment being on its journey for more than 3 months by railway from China to Europe.

Three months, and by rail! In my ignorance, I didn't know that rail shipment was still an option, what with ship and air being so prevalent these days.

I had several such railway shipments from Lana, the first being the MuSee studio Dreadnoughtus last year. Normally it takes 6 to 8 weeks at maximum, but this time it got stuck for more than a month in Belgium in customs. There have been several such cases this year, I did hear similar stories from other people.

[/quote]Other than the slowness of this process, T @thomasw100 , would I be correct in assuming that ultimate delivery is dependable and secure?

I would say so. In total, I got 5 railway shipments from Lana and they all have worked out well. I had one case of small damage on a large custom 3D printed and painted sauropod model, but other than that everything arrived without damage. Lana packs such shipments really well.

I often order from lanatime shop, many resin statues, often very fragile with very delicate pieces. I've had very few breakages. Lanatimeshop's packaging is always extremely protective - a very good job!

Hello everyone
I'm new here, does anyone knows if there are any rumors of Haolonggood planning to release some non-dinosaur models like pterosaurs or marine reptiles? some crocodyliform would be amazing!

I have the Quetzalcoatlus and I really like it, the paint job its definitely not the best but the sculpt it's great! plus it's the only pterosaur in my 1/35 scale collection.

Quote from: DefinitelyNOTDilo on December 10, 2024, 10:25:43 PMDoes anyone know which company ships PNSO and HLG models to the US the fastest?
the pnso store in amazon usually ships fast and there is a seller/store in amazon called "run yi" that sells haolonggood and ships fast compared to other haolonggood sellers

Indeed strange that they teased both Majungasaurus and Styracosaurus on the same day, but they only released Majungasaurus. Maybe they are preparing some big bang for the week right before Christmas, like finally the Brachiosaurus?

Hi, welcome Berno!  Paleofiguras, which is a reliable source, has said Haolonggood will produce a Mosasaurus soon.  I hope they'll make something more unique such as Futabasaurus and Cymbospondylus at some point!

Two large expensive sauropods might effect eachother sales negatively though... or maybe haolonggood wants to dominate 1/35 large sauropods niche before others try their chance. We'll see.

There is also einiosaurus to be released.

Turkeysaurus

After watching video above:

1. Grey's eyes don't seem same, one has too much blue , probably bigger compared to other.

2. Grey one might have that glazed non painted look at lighter parts T @thomasw100 had with his Utahceratops.

Also I agree with arms look a bit longer compared to other paleoart stuff i have seen.

I see what you mean and this could be the case for the Majungasaurus as well. Actually I have seen areas that look like that on many Haolonggood figures. In most cases it is not really an issue, but sometimes it is. What I actually think now is that Haolonggood does directly paint the blank figure without applying a primer. A neutral gray or white primer would always provide a good non glossy first layer, but it is yet another cost factor.

Sim

I think the eyes not looking the same is only a painting mistake that doesn't affect all units.  It happens rarely with figures.

And the Styracosaurus as well. We've only seen 1 pic of one of the variants and that's it. It's not out yet. Looking forward to seeing more of it!

V @vampiredesign avatar_HaoLongGood_Elsa @HaoLongGood_Elsa BTW, have you guys considered the possibility of selling your figures through an official AliExpress store? I usually order your figures from AliExpress, and I'd rather directly support you guys than some middleman.
