The darkened scalp on the mammoth is a nice touch, something that didn't show up well under Eofauna's promo pic lighting.

Still wish the Mastodon had a slightly more "exotic" colour scheme though given its distant relation to Elephantids.

Maybe like a giant anteater, in the sense of a streak of a darker color?

I think the Columbian Mammoth might be their best Proboscidean yet. I really love the ankylosaurs, they seemed to have improved their paintwork also.

Indeed. A lighter saddle with darkened extremities would've been ideal for me.

Just noticed the Glyptodon on the card of the Colombian Mammoth in Andy's video. Please give us one EoFauna
Shrek 4 is an underrated masterpiece

Definitely, but maybe a Megatherium before that happens.

Eofauna teased this image with the title: "Sue vs Rexy, is coming soon..."

Does this mean Eofauna is gonna drift away from scientifically accurate figures and make a JP-inspired T-Rex?

Primeval12

No, it's an animated video that was teased a while back! I forget if it's a battle or just a comparison.

javak810i

Ahh, must've missed that, that makes more sense.

I hope it explains the decisions taken in their reconstruction of Sue, like the inferior jaw muscles.

If so, it certainly seems a strange, atypical development , at variance with their previous history.

Concavenator

I'm assuming it'll just be a comparison of the JP Tyrannosaurus against a scientifically accurate depiction of the animal like theirs for the fun of it. Eofauna figures take a long time to develop, and it wouldn't make any sense for them to suddenly start venturing into the JP figures market.

That's a relief! I can scarcely imagine more unwelcome news than if EoFauna were to start cranking out another edition of one of the most done-to-death dinosaur designs in history!
