I do like that it has hooves (albeit still technically speculative) and the color is spectacular. I wish they sold 'solid' versions of some of these LOL

Carnoking

These are all looking great! Excited to see some of the posing options down the line

Count me in for the 1:35 jimmy, although the A. fragilis looks pretty sweet too (well, and the others too).

I'm excited to see more 1:35 BotM stuff. In a short amount of time, we've had these two 1:35 Allosaurus, and now there are plans for Spinosaurus and Stegosaurus receiving the same treatment.

It seems they are offering smaller versions of figures of the most famous species, but it would be super interesting if David and team offered 1:35 versions of dinosaurs that are not often made in said scale, like dromaeosaurids, Pachycephalosaurus or Kentrosaurus.

Even if the current 1:35 BotMs are already some of the best figures of the animals in said scale range despite high competence with static figures (as we're talking about relatively big and very famous dinosaurs), there is much less competence with the aforementioned smaller species (in case there's competence to begin with).

Just imagine a 1:35 BotM Utahraptor/Austroraptor/Deinonychus or Pachycephalosaurus. They would be such gems. They should definitely be feasible size-wise, seeing their small 1:18 dromaeosaurids (Velociraptor, Linheraptor, Dromaeosaurus, etc.). Just even 1 of these would be super appreciated, let alone several.

Faelrin

I would all be here for a 1:35 Utahraptor and more.

Likewise. Mammals are a group that works better as static models. IMO reptiles work well as articulated models as they give the impression of being rigid and angular, while mammals tend to have a more fluid flexible feel to their anatomy. Especially in dynamic poses where interactions between the underlying skeletal/muscular anatomy and overlying integument are prominent; something that is unfortunately lost on articulated models.

Not worth preordering if you are from Europe, almost 40$ for shipping a single Allosaurus :o , plus taxes.

Better wait for Everything Dinosaur to get their stock, it's cheaper even with the coprolite exchange rate of pound to euro.

I ordered my Allo and Achillobator from Lana, it wasn't a bad price at all really.

Indeed. Even though I usually prefer static figures, based on that teaser I'd say there's a good chance that the BotM will be my new favorite Spinosaurus. Even more so if Gabriel Ugueto designs its color scheme.

Halichoeres

Looks like the Cyberzoic Kickstarter figures are finally getting ready to ship...

I've been a little out of the loop lately - has there been any word as to whether we might see a re-release of the 1/35th Tyrannosaurus Rex?

Faelrin

No idea honestly. I know there was discussion about retooling the neck, with a possible re-release (or Cyberzoic repaint) for the big 1/18 one from what I remember.

That said the grey unpainted 1/35 is still available, if that might be of any interest (only 4 left).

Looks fantastic. I'm really hyped about that Moeritherium as well, I truly hope it sees the light of day.

Oh my goodness, that Amebelodon(?) brought back memories of the Playmobil African Elephant — a favourite of mine forty years ago :*D

Quote from: Flaffy on February 28, 2025, 03:55:15 PMLowered price for the Allosaurus seems more reasonable now given the size compared to the previous 1/35 figure.

These are undoubtedly wonderful articulated figures, certainly compared to the not so great and relatively expensive Kaiyodo Sofubi Toy Box T. rex (if anyone wants mine, you are more than welcome), and worth their price, I guess.

I'm planning on getting both
IMO this is the definitive Allosaurus imo
