Since this is a January 2025 release, I'm putting it in a new thread in the 2025 subforum. H/t to avatar_Flaffy @Flaffy for bringing this to our attention.

Thanks for the heads-up, Blaine! I don't care for 'em, but with that Citipati coming, I can forgive.

If anyone is interested in these--or anything else from Japan, please PM.

Thanks.

Maybe these fit better in the novelties thread, but Bandai has a couple of goofy things in the pipeline:

Anyone knows what scale the Citipati is in?

I don't have mine in hand yet, so I'm just eyeballing it, but I'm expecting it to land around 1:25 - 1:30.

Thank you, that's sort of what I'm expecting too. Safari's Anzu is in 1:25 scale and was a similarly-sized animal to Citipati, so if Bandai's Citipati is smaller than that Anzu, it might be close to 1:30, so it might scale well with most of Eofauna's/PNSO's/HLG's figures, as well as other 1:30/35 scale ones.

I got mine via Brett last week. 1:26 according to my snout to tail tip measurement.

1. Spinosaurus
2. Styracosaurus
3. T. rex
4. Spino, variant
5. Styraco, variant

I extrapolate that the third series will have one repaint each of Spinosaurus, Styracosaurus, Triceratops, and Tyrannosaurus, and two new sculpts.

There's a whole lot of Jurassic World Rebirth themed Plannosaurus coming out.

I guess some of those might be re-skins....literally in this case. Same skeleton, new skin.

As for the Living Creatures Encyclopedia Dinosaurs, I guess those are in the Deforeal style. Chibi proportions, but highly detailed. I also think the two Ceratopsians may share parts.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

I'm really glad there's the titanosaur in this set. I love the design but I don't feel like buying the giant 53 inch long mattel figure. I'd like to use it as a stand-in for Sauroposaeidon.

I expect we'll have plenty of choices for Titanosaurus. So far at least Mattel, Lego, Bandai, and Takara Tomy. There will probably be versions from ToyMonster, Dino Dream, and W-Dragon as well.

I'm very interested in the lego and captivz versions for sure.
The Bandai figure is well sculpted but the odd neck hinge is distracting even for me.
As for Dino Dream and W-Dragon, I have no interest in those whatsoever.
