So, I've been recently checking some sites for models and I've been thinking it'd be nice to get one of the more "fancy" models again (PNSO and co) but something on the cheaper side, so I've been eyeing their Ankylosaurus (there's some other in a similar range but in terms of bang for your buck that one feels undefeated).
However I did realize that Eofauna also released one recently in a similar (even a bit cheaper) price range here. Now...I haven't kept up too well with ankylosaurs in recent times, but from what I heard the Eofauna may be a bit more accurate and I do kinda like the paint scheme more, but the PNSO has a nice calm pose and it does seem to be pretty popular.

So before picking one of those two I wanted to see which one you guys prefer, hope it's fine to open a topic for that.

I don't have PNSO's although I recently got Eofauna's. I did always want PNSO's up until I got that figure in. Also I've have seen that the paint quality has went down on the PNSO figure as it's a decent few years old. I do have Safari's and the Carnegie version, which are both quite nice. I definitely think Eofauna's is the best and my favourite ankylosaurus currently out however.

Eofaunas blows PNSOs out of the water in my opinion. It's a darn near perfect Ankylosaurus.

I believe Eofauna's is a bit more accurate than PNSO's. And IMO, Eofauna's is the more refined figure of the two as well. I'd definitely choose Eofauna's.

Mine is Safari's 2017 WS model. The armor does not depict the most up-to-date theory (which I think is represented by PNSO) but honestly both reconstructions are speculative so who's to say which is more accurate (unless something has come out more recently; I haven't kept up)

Thanks everyone!
Decided to go with the Eofauna one (admittedly that was my favorite by a tiny margin but I wanted to double check lol)
The Safari one is admittedly also still really great model and I like the colors a lot, simple but effective. :D

I really like the feel of the Eofauna in hand and that dark chocolatey color too. Not to mention the more serious details and aspects, of course.

The PNSO and Safari are both very good, but if I didn't have an Ankylosaurus and was only going to get one, I would also go with EoFauna!

Gotta get in line for the eofauna one. The PNSO is great too, but Eofauna's figures shows they put effort into scientiffic accuracy above and beyond what you'd expect for their price range.
