Very nice setup! I admire your restraint, I wouldn't be able to resist cramming the display case full.

Thank you avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres !
In fact it's much crowded than it was two years ago. But HLG made too much good models...so I could not resist. I will have to find good places to display the next figures which I ordered...

Nice collection of figurines. If I were your guest, you wouldn't show me the living room or garden, because I'd spend my entire stay in your dinosaur room.

Thanks for sharing avatar_Paleo Flo @Paleo Flo

Did you create those museum guides yourself? They look amazing and better than what you often see in the museum gift shops.

Thank you very much avatar_Crackington @Crackington ! ^-^

I created them via PosterXXL.

It became a tradition after visiting a museum. I started in 2016. It is work. But it is worthy in all meanings.
I hope to continue this series in the summer.

I haven't heard of Poster XXL, but the guides look really good. What a great way to remember your visits.

Have you been to the Sedgwick Museum in Cambridge? It's more compact and claustrophobic than the Oxford Museum, but some great fossils in there including more trilobites than I've ever seen in one place!

I guess PosterXXL is only known in Germany :))
It has a good photobook-creator. I guess there are different but similar offers in other countries.

Not yet. But now it is on my list.
Im summer I hope to visit some musems in Bavaria.

I really like those selfmade guides! What an impressive number of museum visits, too!

I hope to increase the number of visits soon.
The big dream is to make a museum tour from New York to Pittsbourgh to Los Angeles

Are those Detolfs placed next to each other?

Also, very nice collection. Your cabinets look great and good to see a collection that's not oversaturated with figures, which lends to greater focus on each individual piece.

Thanks a lot! Indeed, the five Detolfs are placed next to each other.

I guess it will be hard for further figures to movie in without creating an too overcrowded display. I have to think about where to place the next two figures which are on the way to Florassic Park. And I guess I will order one HLG Iguanodon minimum...

In the case of scale references for my collection I need your help.

I am searching for reference species in scale 1:35.

I already own the CollectA elephant but I would like to expand that.

I am looking for:

- Human
- Giraffe
- Pelican
- Southern cassowary
- Common birds
- Hippopotamus

Thank you very much 8)
Thanks a lot!

Concavenator

Can't help you with the modern animals unfortunately, but when it comes to humans, what about Wonder Artistic Models' humanoids? I have them and they're quite handy. You can check them out here.

You say your preferred scale is 1:35, and a figure in that scale is included. Figures in 1:30, 1:33 and 1:37 scale (very similar to 1:35) are included too, among others. So you could pretty much consider consider those figures to be in 1:35 scale too, give or take some minor differences. Figures in larger scales (like 1:10 or 1:15) are included too, which you could use with figures like Safari's Velociraptor and Deinonychus if you wanted.

If you want to take a look at how these humanoids work in the context of a collection, you can take a look here.

Hope this helps!

Thanks a lot! This is indeed very helpful. Sadly the shipping costs are a way too high for that purpose...
