Some pics of my " fancy footwork " :

That t-rex is coming along very nicely. Do you have an ideas on what colour it will be yet?

Thanks ! Yeah I have some idea...here's a mock up I did in Paint :

Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus

I think that color scheme will look good...

Yeah we don't many " red " dinos and I liked the description of the Rex from the JP novel..so I think this will work.  I was pretty tempted to do a " Black Death " coloration though.. lol

:)  You're going to need a bigger park!

We have more acres.. i just have to figure out how to get to the area. Our shop and barns are inbetween them.  I also have to fence it all in..that's a bit...costly.  ;)

Wow, it has really come along!   8)

Heh heh, yep ! I just finished the feet today.  If you had asked me this time last year if I would ever build a 1:1 Rex I'd have laughed and put you off..I just didn't think it was possible. This guy floated between a head only, a half body, all that for awhile before we decided to just go for it !

We're getting close to done, just need more funds for paint and scaffolding now :

Heh, no need to donate the full 400.00 , that was amount was 500.00 a week or so ago, now it's around 390.00 thanks to a dinosaur artist and one of our regular contributors from Chile.  Honestly a 1.00 and up is fine, every little bit helps.  For example I had a couple older gentlemen visit us in the cold last week,  they gave us 5.00, that will buy a can of good quality outdoor paint for us. It all adds up.

lol I'm not sure he'd love that name.. ;D  I was thinking of just going with Stan for him, we have our first Raptor ( Utahraptor ) named Winston..so we'd have Stan, Winston .  ;)

we've been trying to get some more nice looking signs and such for the Park that look more professional ,  finally had the funds to order some :

Cool! On the sign, terrors is spelled with an apostrophe. Change that, or else more nitpicks will notice! ^-^

Ah, yes it's done on purpose.  Our business is Backyard Terrors , which the Dinosaur Park is a production of, so Backyard Terror's Dinosaur Park. :)

Patrx

In that case, it should be "Backyard Terrors' Dinosaur Park", with the apostrophe after the "s". Unless your facility is called "Backyard Terror"?

Hmm..I don't know . I had my guy do them and he worked for Hallmark and has a lot of experience..so I was pretty sure he knew what he was doing ?

I believe they've already printed and shipped so I'm stuck one way or the other.. :/
