1/6 scale Alan Grant and The Big One:

That's an exceedingly colorful raptor!  Looks nice though.  But since it's Chronicle, I imagine it's big and expensive.

How about a 1/6 T. rex, Chronicle?

We'll see. I have no faith in Chronicle after my breakout Rex. Overpriced indeed. And disappointing sculpt and an insulting paint job. My Sideshow rex was half the price and many times the quality.

I wish we could go back to the days of vinyl kits. I don't have faith in paint jobs anymore, and I enjoy painting.

Finally a Jurassic Park raptor in scale with the Beasts of the Mesozoic 1/6 scale raptors. I love how similar this looks to the maquette and animatronic (and suit) raptors from the original film.

I mean just compare it to the pics from here (with one below as an example):

Now with that said I am worried about the final product's likeness, considering their history, and I'm fully expecting this thing to cost more then $100 minimum, if not even more then that.

Not that it makes your point any less valid, but I believe I read that that particular raptor maquette was repainted with more contrast and is more orange than the film raptors. The first photo in the link you shared is more accurate to what made it into the film:

I mean, the JP raptors were also the size of Deinonychus, so maybe that works.

The JP raptors are similar in length, but are many times the height and bulk of a real Deinonychus.

The JP raptors were definitely up-sized. So I mean this one should hopefully be the size of the one from the first film, but regardless it'll still be sold in 1/6 scale, which is the scale of the BotM raptors so it should come close enough to how big the JP raptor is in compared with a Velociraptor mongoliensis.

@Pachyrhinosaurus Ah that's something I was not aware of, although I did notice the orange tint it had. Either way the CC figure is still pretty strikingly similar. Although I guess time will tell if the final product turns out just as well. Though I doubt I would be able to afford it anyhow with all my other collecting wants and needs these days.

The Detail on that Alan Grant figure is very.......Uncanny

You're better off tracking down the old Tsukuda Velociraptors, or customizing/commissioning a custom of one of the Super Colossal Blue's.

Great detail and painting in the Alan Grant' figure. If it weren't so expensive, I'd buy just  to customize it in the dectetive from the movie "In the Mouth of the Madness".(I'm pretty sure I saw a sculpture just of Sam Neill's head for 12" inch figutes, but I can't remember where).
