It's a small collection, but a fine selection. Nothing wrong in starting with the "classics" of prehistoric life!

Halichoeres

It's a nice selection! I like that the Archelon doesn't seem to like being quite right side up.  :))

Also, congrats on 1,000 views on your thread!

Nice Collection! I absolutely love your diverse Marine Life Collection! And so much of it! Since i am not in the extant Animal Figure world: What company is the Vampyroteuthis infernalis from? I really would love to collect Cephalopods, but most renditions that are more easily obtainable look toyisch and meh to me. Especially Squid. (Yes, Vampyroteuthis isn't a Squid, but i meant in general.)

But there seem to be some quite okay Squid in the Fishingbait world. But i hate fishing.

Edit: Okay i need that CollectA Minke. Its just too good to pass. EVERY time i order a Figure, i have the Minke from CollectA in the Shopping Cart, but delete it.

Here's the updated collection!

Nice selection of aquatics! Looks like your cabinet has a glass door. How well does that keep dust at bay?

not 100% foolproof as i do see some specks of dust from time to time but way better than an oen air shelf

I have made the difficult decision to part with most on my prehistoric collection sans for some late Cretaceous genera due to cutting cost, shelf space and hating how tiring is it to constantly update new figures *cough cough Spinosaurus. These are  ones I'll be retaining but this isn't the end for my prehistoric collection! I'm still adding the Pnso Deinocheirus, CollectA Edmontosaurus, one of collectA's Elasmosaurs and I'll anticipate a large scale Dreadnaughthous (not the gigantic Mattel one), a larger Therizinosaurus (PNSO one is too small for me)and whatever else will be featured on Prehistoric Planet Season 2.

I'm surprised you made the cutoff the late Cretaceous rather than aquatic over terrestrial. But I guess keeping the aquatics would have left you stuck with Spinosaurus. Anyway, for a pared-down prehistoric collection, this is a good selection. (Although as a partisan for the Triassic and Paleozoic, it bums me out just a tiny bit to see them culled.)

what to do hehe. i'ld rather take more well known/studied species rather than more fragmentary ones but it's my silly lil opinion and I'm going with the trend of mostly getting the ones featured in prehistoric planet with the exception of the Ankylosaurus whose my favourite dinosaur and xiphactinus because I just like the collectA one too much and we have a pretty good idea what it looked like. the others will be going into the hands of another collector so not to worry. as for aquatics go, the prehistoric collection is one of the only times where I have more terrestrial than aquatics haha. besides I have to have all stars such as Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Velociraptor and Mosasaurus and besides, I'm too attached with my botm and the Safari LTd trike and ankylo are the OGs for accurate prehistorics for me to let them go. The favourite Carnos is there because of the lack of the ridges seen in the majority of carnos. I'm selling to free available shelf space and merging the prehistoric with my modern animals and since I don't have much terrestrial moderns, the Dinos fit right in and as for the prehistorics, they're going with the deep sea critters.

Impressive collection! Have you considered getting some display risers? I think those could help display the figures.

Nice. The Colorata Paleozoic box is great. You don't like the stands that come with it?
