That makes much more sense.  I was thinking it over and realised 15kg was more than half the weight of a horse feed bag.

Quote from: shahinos on May 17, 2023, 09:29:04 AMMust be 1,5 kg? I just checked Atlasaurus and Safari's Camarasaurus, they both weigh around 500 gr.

Yes!! Finally!

Ordered the orange version.  ;D  ;D

Come on Morrison Formation!

I just came home from work and saw this. Immediately jumped on eBay and ordered the brown version from La-na. Cost a small fortune but damn, this is a gorgeous Sauropod figure.
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

MLMjp

Heck yeah! I know some people see it as bland, but blue-ish grey is my go to color for Apatosaurus.

Quote from: Blade-of-the-Moon on May 17, 2023, 06:17:47 AMIf I get one it will certainly be the brown version since as mentioned there are so many grey sauropods gracing my shelf already.
Ditto. This figure will likely replace the old Papo Apatosaurus in my display, which has the added benefit of substituting an subadult with the adult. Ouch, yes pricey, but that's to be expected. This pushes it into the range I paid for my Battat versions 1 and 2 Tyrannosaurus'. I would normally have waited for Safari to get around to finally upgrading the ancient Carnegie model with a newer one of their own, but I'm afraid that it would end up being smallish, like their 2010 version.

This is coming up at around £67 with box (plus VAT if applicable) and free shipping.  Around £55 without.

I'll probably wait until the other stores I sometimes use have it and compare prices!

Little late to the party!

I understand the preference for the brown colorscheme. Honestly smart move for Haolonggood to go for a somewhat colorful pallet for one and bland for the other. Some collectors do not want a a large colorful sauropod.

On the other hand, I'll probably be picking up the grey variant. I feel as though a repaint would work well for this model. ;D

What I've noticed with Haolonggood products is that Model Toy Center has them for the cheapest (usually).

Man, that really does look gorgeous. I appreciate how very different the color schemes are.
Does the snout look unusually broad to anyone else?

That's what I thought. There is something around the head that's distract me. I just can't figure out what it is. Sadly I'm not impressed by the pics. Wait for in-hand-pictures

I think that's bigger than 1:35, but we'll see. I think I'll go for it. The more marbled version reminds me of Bullyland's Apatosaurus, although considerably dolled up!

Up on Amazon now as well. $150. Not surprised with how big it is. Definitely looking forward to seeing you folks get this one. I'm partial to the grey one, if only because it reminds me of the smaller (I think 14 inch) Safari Ltd Apatosaurus.

Wow, this Apato looks great. Gives me Sideshow Apatosaurus vibes. I'd like to see some in-hand pics before I make any decisions about buying, but Haolonggood really knocked it out of the park with this one.

Both look great, but I'm not really sure which version I prefer...

Gwangi

I'm digging the gray one the most. Reminds me of Safari's 2010 figure. And the loads of vintage paintings of gray Brontosaurus/Apatosaurus. I just associate gray with Apatosaurus, and although gray can be boring I find this particular tone very appealing. Not sure when or if I'll get this one but looking forward to more pictures and reviews.
