This is one of my own compositions. I'm just really proud of it so thought I'd share it here. Most of my compositions are Palaeontology based to some degree but this is one of the few that isn't, it's based on Jupiter's icey moon Europa. It's a long one by the way (14 minutes) but I'd really appreciate it if someone took the time to listen to it. It's pretty trancey for anyone who likes that sort of thing.

Nice one ! The sounds really puts to mind harsh ice formations on a distant moon, kind of like a trancy Sigur Ros !

But my favourite "paleontological" music is still Precambrian by The Ocean :

Thanks for the compliments.
I've not heard of those but I'll check out that album when I have the time.

Guitar solo at the end is <3 Also, listening to this reminds me of my younger sister, who has gone to California for a month.

This one is something special to me, because It was played frequently during my trips to The University Hospital in 2005 and 2006 when my heart condition was more serious.

.......

I like your avatar, primeval :)!
I've been a King Crimson fan for decades. I've always been heavily influenced by Robert Fripp's guitar techniques.
I guess you kow that there's a Crimson song called 'Dinosaur' :).

A little trance / melodic dubstep track I made recently, inspired by Blade Runner.

Feels more like TRON - rebooted, for me. Damn nice, and I'm being earnest here. If I didn't care for it I would say so!
I could see (hear?) this being in a scifi movie for sure. And it's better than some soundtracks too!

Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I can totally understand your TRON vibes. The synths and sound effects I used for the Spinner could easily be used for a Light Cycle.
I really really like blue things.
