triceratops83

In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

Entire Battat collection - all new/sealed. Would be cooler if they were selling these individually.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/VERY-RARE-BATTAT-BOSTON-MUSEUM-OF-SCIENCE-DINOSAURS-NEW-IN-SEALED-BAGS/333554382592?hash=item4da963f700:g:SIwAAOSwYoFeam4F

The price is very expensive but it must be taken into account that all the figures from the Battat Boston Museum come and, most importantly, they are all new and with the Battat diplodocus. Nice collection, in addition the company has planned delivery using the global shipping method so the customs service will never require you to pay any customs and tax expenses.

The set is expensive but in a way it is cheap considering that it is the complete Battat collection and all its figures are new including figures such as the diplodocus whose second-hand sale is super expensive.

Carnegie Concavenator:

I'm amused how in the title says "Vintage" and the figure was released in 2013  :P
In contrast, one sometimes sees "new" for a 10-15 year old figure in a package. Now this may be the original package, but it should be under the rubric "new condition," not "new."

avatar_Loon @Loon, $400 for the Invicta Lambeosaurus! Am I glad that I bought mine a couple of years ago for $80. Was costly at the time, though I suspected a sharp increase was ahead. These really are gems, and there have been other high-priced examples on the market over the last year, though this might be the apex so far.

And to think that I bought my Lambeosaurus from Invicta for 15 pesetas the equivalent of 10 euro cents twenty years ago. I'm glad I bought that lambeosaurus at that rare fossil exhibit for sale. I will never regret. That figure must be a rare figure today for it to cost a whopping $ 400.

Yeah, I got mine for a couple dollars at the AMNH in the early 90s. Good thing it was the only Lambeosaurus available back then otherwise I would have passed! I remember only buying Invictas if I didn't have that species from Safari. Lambeosaurus, Baryonyx, Megalosaurus, etc.

I've said it before, but my suspicion is that the Battat price bubble has "flattened out." Too many high quality items from other new and refurbished old lines to permit the old inflated Battat prices to persist.

I have to agree with you on that one. A few years back a good condition T.rex would go for over 150, even around 200 if it was the first version. Acrocanthosaurus was the best of it's kind back then, mine cost me about 100. No new condition by the way. Today I wouldn't pay that much for one, considering the awesome variety of Acros we have around. Battat originals will always be collectible, but I don't think we'll see them go for a lot of cash anytime soon.
