£35 for a 'Buy it now' mint boxed WWD Liopleurodon is a good deal. For some reason the same seller has another WWD Lio up for auction at a much higher price. I wonder if it is a mistake.

The Liopleurodon is GBP 120.00 - the figures have different prices.

Ah! I didn't notice that. Well, that explains it! Not such a great deal then, sorry!

For anyone who ever wanted the mysterious chinasaurs-plastic acanthodiian:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Junk-Drawer-Toy-Lot-Ocean-Fish-Whales-Sharks-Dolphin-Animals-Figures-Sea-World-/331160543851?pt=US_Action_Figures&hash=item4d1ab4e26b

Although you might want to wait until he seller has been unsuccessful for a while. The rest of the lot is poor at best, and it's overpriced. But at least the fish is there!

Thanks for the tip! Is that a climatius (the red fella to the left, third from the bottom)?

Blade-of-the-Moon

I have one of those..mines all green with black eyes.  I recall I bough it in a lot of plastic fish from a cake decorating shop that used be around here awhile back.

It's some sort of low quality acanthodiian. Except it only has a single row of ventral spines. It's pretty much the only thing worth getting in the lot, but I know several people have been looking for it at various times.

There's a lot of good stuff in there--battats, playvisions, etc.

Yeah but 3500.00 ?  I think they are basing it more on the artist's name than on what is actually there. So many bits and pieces. I wouldn't mind a few of them but not for that cost.

Lots of goodies there...but the asking price is ridiculous.

I think he can be bargained with since it's a best offer auction.  That is just a lot of volume to deal with. I think the seller would have been better off doing a little research and then selling lots. The battats in one lot, the playvisions in another, the invictas in another, and so on. Shoot, he may have ended up with close to his asking price that way.

Yeah, that would be a better idea. I'm only really interested in the Kaiyodos, ha.

Simon

If he sold everything that I saw in there individually, he would make more than $3500.  Its more than a fair price, but you have to be a collector who wants all that stuff.  Most serious collectors would already have lots of that stuff, and would probably not want to buy seconds (and then have to sell them off to make back some of their expenditure.

thelordsgym

There "appears" to be safari, papo, and schleich dinosaurs in this lot....even the colors are identical....so I took a closer look....there is a seam down the center of every one....meaning cheap knock offs, and most likely hollow also...from China no less....I remember someone mentioning that before somewhere on here......sigh....hope no one buys them......

All I really want to know--will they have the Kaiyodo Arowana again? I never even saw it the last time, and it is likely the one thing on my can't find list (I did find one once, but it was incomplete so I passed).
