Seriouly, where's the Therizinosaurus? It wasn't in the picture. ???
It's going to be released later than the other figres.

He has a point though.  The other figures are all shown there and they will be released at different times during the year.  So it does make one wonder why they left it out..unless it's being tweaked.

If its being tweaked, lets hope they don't pull another Mapusaurus on us

If it's being tweaked I hope it ends up like this

but certainly not like this

Blade-of-the-Moon

Just an idea..maybe it was the last into production or they didn't have a spare at the time to send.  If it is being tweaked it's probably something minor.

Takama

Maybe this one had the potential to topple over constantly so there sculpting a base.

Blade-of-the-Moon

lol TQ !

That could be Takama..I think if so it would be the first Deluxe figure to get one ?

alexeratops

That would be cool! My favorite dinosaur honored to be the first deluxe with a base!

Or, the first deluxe unstable enough to need one... ;) ;D

 >:D Okay, so the first of CollectA 2014 I acquired... not sure if they are really available now, or if this particular figure I got was a vendor sample that was sold ( got him on ebay). But, anyway, back to the figure.
Wow, I have to say that this Xenoceratops is to-date, CollectA's best produced non-triceratops ceratopsian (I say this since the dead trike is super cool ). They have surely have gone a long way... even by 2013 standards based on this fella.
For me, there is a subtle but at the same time big change in how they sculpted this figures head... it's a big departure from their older style, and for the better.
The color is striking and bold, only complaint is that the red is a bit too intense, but not as bad when you see it in person ( Photo enhanced the red to make it look bright compared to how it is in person). Otherwise, this figure is super cool, and the B&W color patter really worked well for me.
The quills, by now CollectA's signature on their ceratopsians ;D, is nicely done.
Lastly, the scale/skin detailing is so well executed, it's so small unlike the Safari's or any other CollectA ( see photos below).
This is turning out to be my favorite ceratopsian figures... and with this level of improvement, I am now really excited to see the rest of 2014 figures! ;)
[

And here is how he compares with his new friends  ^-^
Take note of the subtle sculpt difference from last years. Also check out the skin textures compared to the other figures.

Concavenator

Congrats on your catch,it's CollectA's best ceratopsian to date...
Now...I guess next year w'all will say (of the ceratopsian they'll surely release)-Oh,now it's CollectA's best ceratopsian!  ;)

Aaaaaaaarrrghhhhh, the second one is HORRIBLE   ;D

Blade-of-the-Moon

Looks good to me. I think I'd repaint the eyes..the flat black is kinda unappealing.

Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus

Congrats on the great catch, Boki!  8)

Nice Xenoceratops, I must say. What exactly is the red area? flesh? bone? I think I might need to do some slight paint work, as well (change the red to black). The CollectA Kosmoceratops had red horns and I repainted them to black... because red horns are kinda weird.
