Certainly impressive looking, and should be good for Eocene dioramas, at least.

Neat.  Would be great for Jurassic Park dios.

Really thick tail indeed.  Looks like it will help counterbalance him .

The skull looks pretty narrow though..I would have thought a bit thicker.  Looks like the Dinosaur Planet Allosaurus :

Okay, now that model looks good, except for one thing: it's bending down too low, IMO.

And it's modeled after Allosaurus..not the Saurophaganyx.  lol

From what I read. earlier in the thread. I think the Saurophagonax was supposed to be Allosaurus, but I assume they decided to make it a obscure species instead. So you got this creature with the anatomy of a Allo, but it was named Saurophaganax.

It's thought it may be a species of Allosaurus...but it doesn't seem they are sure yet. 

i don't think they have the skull yet of this animal so I guess a thinner narrow one is possible. new reconstructions of allosaurus seem to show a bit wider and rounded skull.

Everything Dinosaur just posted a group photo of CollectA's new figures on their FB page, more photos later today I think. They look really good, and that mosasaur is HUGE! It dwarf all the other figures!
