Meanwhile the hands of my Ichthyovenator have reached the floor :(.
I was expecting that - the material the legs are made of is much too soft.
It's sad because I think it's one of CollectA's better figures.
Why didn't they use the same material as for their Carcharodontosaurus?

I think this happened due to the position of the legs.  The legs are held straight beneath the animal, and this cases it to be top heavy.  Meanwhile My T.Rex with Struthiomimus has its legs in a walking pose, and it does not deform

Why the 15th ?  I think everyone already knows what they look like basically right ?

I don't know. But Esther from CollectA International told me to do so...
Anyway they all look great. Maybe the theropods have too wide hips, but they're really cool
Them's child-birthing hips..maybe they're females >:D

lol I was thinking it..I just didn't say it.  ;D   I've made both styles on my dinos not sure how it happened really..maybe it's a support thing ? Wider hips gives a wider stance and more support.

But some of them have bases!

I believe The Figures were originally made without the bases in the prototype stage, and the wide hips were made to help them stand. Case in point

Concavenator

Say,will CollectA start announcin' there 2015 dinos in summer like last year?
Anybody could answer this?

Found more images of the CollectAs From EDs Pintrest page (ED, If you reading this, you don't mind me posting them here do you?)

Saurophagonax and Stego Corpse

Mosasaurus

Gastonia

Icthyovenator

Baby T.Rex & Bistahieversor

I did not post photos of the Carcharodontosaurus and Quetzacauatolus because I figured that everyone has already seen pictures of them.   I could not find any of the Therizinosaurus.
Where can you get that?

Hynerpeton

Walking With Monsers:
[about Lystrosaurus] Astonishingly, their vast herds make up more than half of all life on Earth. Never again will a single species do so well.

Walking With Monsters: (Hynerpeton) To avoid injury the males demonstrate their strength  in a strange  push up contest.

Blade-of-the-Moon

I'd still like to know what scale/age that little Rex is supposed to represent...:?

Similar to the young T. rex in The Lost World IMO.

Excuse me, but where can you get the Bistahieversor

If so that's a good size..around 6' I think ?

I'm considering adding one at some point and like to use my models for references.

Balaur

I am somgoing to get the Mosasaurus and Carcharodontosaurus. Just a matter of time...

Everything Dinosaur's short video review of the 2014 Collecta Quetzalcoatlus with prey: Quetzalcoatlus with Prey

In this short, 5 minute review we comment on the Alamosaurus etc.

I'm impressed by the Deluxe Therizinosaurus. A nice figure :)!
It's pretty large - not 1:40. I'd say it's about 1:32 (given an original arm length of 3.50 m and a total body length of 10 m).
With a new paintjob the model has much potential and can probably only be surpassed by David's (Krentz) upcoming resin model.
I don't think Papo will top this :-\.

Mauro "Raptor86"

Do you guys have problems with the new CollectA figures with a base, too?
My Ichthyovenator's arms are touching ground now, the young t.rex is completely bending forwards and the Saurophaganax sideways...

Everything_Dinosaur

Everything Dinosaur's review of the dead Stegosaurus (Collecta).  In this video (5 minutes 32 seconds long), we look at the pathology and explain what the wounds on the model reveal about how an attack on a Stegosaur by an allosaurid might have been carried out.

The video review: Collecta Stegosaurus Corpse Model Reviewed

We also include a sneaky peek of the new Saurophaganax model from Collecta, should be on line next week.

Yes, same problem here with the Ichthyovenator and I'm afraid the same will happen to the newly obtained Bistahieversor. The material the legs are made of is too soft. I'll stop buying this kind of figures.

Collecta has set some high standards with this year's Carcharodontosaurus ... now they'll hopefully apply them to a deluxe Trex as well as some other beasties ... I am particularly interested in seeing whether they plan on updating their Deinocheirus ... their commitment to updating old sculpts is one of the things that separates them from the competition ... heck they already have the sculpt - just need to change out the head and add the hump .... given Mr. Beeson's proclivities, do not be surprised ....

A clear (or black) little plastic rod of the kind that the Japanese mini-dinos often come with will solve your problem.  Since you're displaying them only, it should be pretty easy to trim one to the right length and then gently place it without the need for drilling any holes.

They shouldn't be too difficult to find if you decide to hunt for them in your local hobby shop or on-line.

Good idea, but I'd prefer the look without stand. The rod should be in the leg.

Here's the Deluxe Therizinosaurus:
Nice sculpt, but awful paintjob (What is it with CollectA and putting flags on Dinosaurs ????).

Jetoar

Really beautiful figure  ^-^.
[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

Poor little guy needs a pupil for his eye, otherwise its a nice model
