The new figures looks really nice! :)
Btw:this year we haven't see the list of the CollectA models due to be released in 2014.These past years(2012 and 2013,and I don't remember if 2011),we've seen a preview before seeing the announcement images.Wondering why this year we haven't seen it yet.
Otherwise,of what it's happening this year(without models preview list)might be more exciting, you don't know anything and,one day you surf in the Internet and find a new model with image included! :)

Won't be getting the dead stego.  It just doesn't look right to me. I have bought collecta's in the past including the dead Trike, but I thought their figures (for the most part) last year regressed. I always appreciate new species but if there're comparable to last years Tarbo, I'll do without. I'd rather see less figures, more well done.

CollectA have said on their official Facebook page that more new items coming after 3 days :)
I am really excited!
Hope this Friday we'll see "alive" dinosaurs(I still like the Stego)

I'd love a protoceratops nest with parents, hatchlings and eggs.
You mean something like the old Carnegie? It would be quite nice. An oviraptorosaur nest would make more sense, granted, but that's been done more recently...
All you need is love...in the time of chasmosaurs http://chasmosaurs.blogspot.com/

And how about a Deluxe 1:5 scale Aurornis xui? :)
That would be imho the most exciting release in several years,we never seen exotic feathered dinosaurs and less if they'rerecently discovered.
Aurornis would be...an instant hit all overthe world

Yup I mean like this "old" one

But I agree with the oviraptorosaur. That would be really nice too

I would like that Papo do a flying reptile with poseble jaw or another sauropod like as Diplodocus  ^-^.
[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

Collecta will release news of their next models for 2014 on Friday, until then we are under an embargo and can't say any more.  Plan for Collecta this year was to finalise all production plans and then release on a drip feed basis from mid July onwards, we had meetings back in February and this was all part of a plan to be the first of the mainline manufacturers to put out news of 2014 releases.  We will get pics up as fast as we can on the Everything Dinosaur blog and our Facebook page, plus we will provide a head's up on the dimensions.

Yeah, Sorry ,I meant the Daspletosaurus. That  figure was so butt ugly I forgot what it was supposed to be.

Did you see it in person or are you saying this based on the stock pictures?

I've never seen any collecta's in stores in my area so (perhaps unfairly) I can only decide what to buy based on pictures. Maybe the pictures I've seen didn't do it justice but I can only go by what I've seen. Didn't like the picture, didn't like the pose.

Ikessauro

Tomorrow! I just hope the figure is a first in form of toy. I'm dying to see weird ones. The last collecta releases were mostly common among other lines, including the Para, Diplo and Pachy. I want more ornithopods, spinosaurids other than Spinosaurus itself too. I bet Collecta will release a Eoabelisaurus in 2014, it's a recently discovered one and the first Jurassic abelisaur.

Concavenator

Yes,tomorrow.Tomorrow it's a highly anticipated day,all the week waiting for that moment.I wish this time they release "alive" dinosaurs! :)
I bet for CollectA will release a Yutyrannus in 2014,a sauropod and a ceratopsian! :D
Very excited.Last week I was hoping for something obscure and new,and even the announcement previous night it was difficult to sleep to me because of the excitement.
OMG it will be tomorrow! >:D :))

Splonkadumpocus

CollectA has also taken to releasing a big Cenozoic animal every year (Kelenken, Megacerops, Deinotherium). I'm hoping this continues and we get something good on that end. Basilosaurus or some other early cetecean would be nice.

We can now reveal that wishes for a new Spinosaurid have been listened to.  Collecta have pushed the boat out a bit with the inclusion of Ichthyvenator from Laos into their prehistoric life model range.  See picture on Everything Dinosaur's Facebook page: Ichthyvenator on Everything Dinosaur's Facebook page

Blade-of-the-Moon

Looks alright from what I can see..probably the same size as their Irritator.  The detailing looks good and I like the fish inclusion .

Yes, looks pretty neat! Certainly an unusual choice, one to add to the unique species list I think?
