The Safari is an absolute beauty - and shown to best advantage in your excellent photos.  I must place my order this weekend!

Perfect shots, really nice Pachy for sure. I received mine a few weeks ago and it's a really good representation of this classic dino.

Edit: avatar_postsaurischian @postsaurischian If you don't mind me asking, could you tell me what technique do you use to achieve the perfect white background? I usually use a couple of lights to do mine, but I never get a perfect result. In the end I have to clean up the background from my shots with Photoshop. Do your backgrounds get this white using just lighting and camera settings or there's editing involved?

Shonisaurus

avatar_postsaurischian @postsaurischian  I congratulate you on your new pachycephalosaurus figure from Safari 2020 along with that of Battat, Favorite, both from Kaiyodo and Papo makes a very good set and sincerely that figure is fortunately currently very well represented in the toy market and far exceeds to his dracorex counterpart.

avatar_Ikessauro @Ikessauro: I use sunlight through an attic window on white cardboard sheet. Not every cardboard sheet reflects in the
same way. The best reflecting one I have is getting a bit old now and meanwhile it's more like creamy white. The less sun
the more I have to work afterwards, finding a good bright spot on the background, copying that colour and painting the
rest of the background (especially the corners). This can be time-consuming! ;D

After the REBOR package around New Year I got my Safaris now. What an awesome start of the new Dinosaur toy season!
A strong year for Safari if you ask me. I love all the six new figures I ordered. This one is a true Dinosaur toy masterpiece - Bravo Doug!

I guess there's no easy way around it, right? I too have to touch up my shots, although I don't use sunlight for mine. I have to powerful fluorescent lights for that. The problem I find is sometimes it distorts the real colors a bit. But nothing that I can't fix by tweaking the values of the picture later.  But it really is time-consuming indeed! Thanks for the reply and by the way, the Deinonychus pics are perfect, as the figure!

Beautiful figure...although in that pic with the anime girl, that is either a great companion or a raptor attack about to happen. I think I'll go for the former.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

IDK the eye on that Raptor makes me think  the latter. >:D

Yeah, but then it is subverted as not the girl gets attacked but rather the Dire Wolf that was about to attack her.

You will all be in for a big surprise when it turns out that Raptor is vegan and that it actually went for the flower!

avatar_postsaurischian @postsaurischian Nice and cool deinonychus. I receive mine on Monday. I count the hours.

Yes, the original intention was the girl being being nice and bringing the beast a flower. Deinonychus - surprised in the first place - stays calm.

Haley O'Brien et al. puts the max TL estimate at 31 feet"

Safari ichythiosaurus and sarcosuchus are larger than I imagined judging by the photos. Thank you for showing us those majestic postsaurischian photographs. My figures will arrive yes or yes tomorrow by DHL from urzeitshop. I count the hours to see these beauties.

                                                                             originally sculpted by Stefan Klein

it's so tiny and wonderful! smaller species are urgently needed in our 1:35 collections.
that was a very good idea and a great start of a promising series I will surely follow, especially since it's from Germany.

the figure comes in a beautifully designed little box

here it is next to Kaiyodo's Dinotales No.96A - the hunt for that one will probably cease eventually

in combat with Favorite Metal models Deinonychus (used as Velociraptor here)

Thank you for the magnificent photo credit postsaurischian the Wild Past protoceratops and the Safari dilophosaurus (whose figure I received yesterday from urzeitshop) are outstanding.
