Joosa thank you for sharing with all the photos. The coelophysis is a great work of art, the first feathered coelophysis made to date and not based on Jurasic World.

One more reason to buy Safari 2017 dinosaurs.

Thanks for the comments, guys!

I usually do not like models with permanent bases, but this one is just great. The body screams theropod and this was for me, the most surprising 2017 Safari release.

The Giga makes a nice pair with the Carnegie! I didn't think I'd want it, but it's reeeeeally tempting.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

A nice set of photos.  I too had more or less decided I wouldn't buy the Giganotosaurus - but I've changed my mind.  It's a very dynamic pose.  Just need to wait for Everything Dinosaur's supplies to arrive...

The giganotosaurus Safari is a beauty (I know that I repeat in absolute terms all the dinosaur novelties and prehistoric animals of Safari 2017).

Thank you Joosa for sharing your pictures, the marketable figures are better than the prototypes that is already saying although according to my appreciation I value more the permanent bases in the dinosaurs.

From what I see unfortunately in videos and photographs the feathered tyrannosaurus rex (work of art by Doug Watson) unfortunately has problems of sustainability on two legs, but does not remove it to be a masterpiece. And the coelophysis said fortunately is the first of its kind not based on Jurassic World.

Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.

I like that the Giganotosaurus is longer than the T. rex, but the latter is beefier and more powerful. That said, due to limited space and money, I shall pass on it.

I like the sculpt on this one (as with every other Safari Ceratopsian), but I think the coloration is a bit too muted.

I agree about the colour, but Doug's sculpt is, as usual, amazing - definitely one for a repaint when i have the time again! ;)

Why no Vagaceratops:( :'( :'( :'(  It's like the Vaga is that stepchild that no one wants to take responsibility for (despite the fact that it is one awesome, top-tier model and the only version made by a mass market dinosaur company)

The thing I like best about the model is that it draws inspiration from these sculptures:

The Gigas look really good together (and with T-rex!)

I'm curious, where'd you get the mini figures on 1st post?

I haven't gotten around to purchasing that one. I'm not too fond of the color scheme.

My brother gave them to me. Most must have come from some play set and have a "Made in China" or "China" stamp on the underside.

Amazing model, albeit a bit smaller than I wanted it to be.

Oh okay. So you don't actually know what brand or where to get 'em?

Seeing the Giganotosaurs together, I think the new sculpt is definitely superior. I think dinosaurs had a lot more fat, muscle and saggy skin than they've traditionally been depicted. Unfortunately I think the paint job isn't as good as the older one that had a nice, natural-looking wash.
