just watched The Land Before Time.    Took me back to when I was a young one.

I think David should make a Chubby Saurolophus as well, and I would do anything I can to get my hands on it (I cant shop on Shappways due to restrictions in my family)

The new Chubbie Tyrannosaurus rex and Trike are cute :)

Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus

I heartily agree with TQ above. David, when is the therizinosaurus being released?

Here are the new Chubbies.  More pics on the Shapeways website.
The rex is around $15 and the Trike is about $20 ( in colored polished)
If you do not order like...now...they will not arrive for Christmas.  So send everyone who has no idea what to buy you to this page    https://www.shapeways.com/shops/krentz    and gently talk them through the Shapeways ordering process, or have them buy a gift card here   https://www.shapeways.com/gifts/cards?li=nav

There are some really bizarre printing issues with the Spino.  I'm trying to get them resolved.  Therizinosaurus will come after that is fixed.

Where can you buy the antediluvia collection afrovenator for less than 20$?

You can't. It's a high quality model, aimed at collectors. Therefore, I think the price that it goes for on Dan's Dinosaurs is very reasonable.

The pricing on that page is looong outdated.
You can only buy the Antediluvia Collection from Dan's Dinosaurs (U.S.) or Urzeitshop (Europe). These two are the only official distributors.

Exactly, David got out of the business of selling his pieces..just too much work. So yes, Dan is your only source to get them, and the price is only a couple dollars difference anyway.

Not a problem. it's what we're here for .

The Digging Dutchman

Hi guys,
I want to get the shapeways 1:72 Majungasaurus in ultra frosted detail, but I can't see anywhere how detailed it will be, does anyone already have it in ultra frosted or normal frosted? Also I noticed a problem with the teeth, but does that also count for the ultra frosted or normal frosted detail? And are the frosted models paintable?
Thanks for reading this,
Gr,
Sander

The 1:72 Majunga is a very nice, but very small, just 3 + 1/2 inches or so, model, and much of that is tail.  I have it in wsf; the teeth and other details are fine, but so tiny I wouldn't recommend spending more on any frosted or other upgrades unless you plan on displaying it under a magnifying lens.  Also, all of the materials, including frosted, are paintable, but I thought the reason to get frosted is to enjoy the "frosted" look.  If you're planning to paint over it anyway, there's really no point in getting it, IMHO.

How did you get them before me?  Did they turn out OK?  No Rex?
