Their is at the printers!  Spino is being cast right now, so it will ship very soon.

D

Their?  I meant Theri as in Therizinosaurus is at the printers.  Freakin' auto spell.

1/40 scale Ekrixinatosaurus is available here https://www.shapeways.com/model/1633325/ekrixinatosaurus-1-40-krentz.html?li=more-from-shop&materialId=6

The reason I don't do a lot of 1/40 Shapeways models is because you can get better detail and a cheaper price with a resin kit. Regardless, I wasn't sure I would release this as a 1/40 Saurozoic Collection Model, so I thought I'd just give it a try and see how people react. If you are going to buy it, splurge and just get the Ultra Detail.
Keep in mind ( for your wallet) that 1/40 Spino resin will be available really really soon!  That my friends, is what happens when artists try and do business.

And for your dioramas of all scales...

These are Generic Dromaeosaur "Raptor" dinosaurs that are sold as a pack of four. SInce these kinds of dinosaurs had thick integument ( feathers, fluff, etc) the finer details of anatomy that determine exact species would be concealed, as in many modern birds. In 1/40 scale they can represent many raptor dinosaurs within the 5 to 8 foot range. Hey, not all dinosaurs were at there maximum length their entire lives! These species could include include Deinonychus, Dromaeosaurus, Atrociraptot, Velociratopor, Sinornitholestes, Tsaagan, Yurgovuchia, etc. There are slight differences in the models, especially the snouts, but at this scale they are frankly imperceptible. At 1/72 they could be used as some of the giant dromaeosaurs like Utahraptor or Achillobator, and in 1/20 scale some 2 to 3 footers.

  The WSF is about $10

  I think Oviraptosaurs are next.

The Ekrix looks great. Nice to see an unusual abelisaur. Btw, have your ever thought about rereleasing the Judith statue, but as the fuzzy version you posted a while back?

Yes, I might do a kit of that one.  But I'll try a 1/72 of it on Shapeways.  A 1/40 Shapeways would be more expensive and less detailed than a kit.  I still need to load a Mamenchisaurus too.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Congrats on creating another awesome theropod I have trouble wrapping my tongue around ! lol

What's your price point for the Spino again ?

The generic dromeosaurs are a great idea..I might order a couple different scales to play with.   I would like to some hypsilophodonts and ornithomimds like this.   A running pose would welcome to.  :)

If you do a new kit of Judith I'll have to get it to go with my older version. ;)

How about releasing her juvenile's via shapeways ?

I was sorta hoping you would release it in the same scale to the old one (as a resin kit), which I never go the chance to purchase.

;D

But it's all good :)

Needs a resin version. A 1/35 or 1/30 resin version.

amargasaurus cazaui

Tempted to post Martin's paint up of the ? 1/72 version trike and anklyosaurus David offers on Shapeways. They are top drawer .
Authors with varying competence have suggested dinosaurs disappeared because of meteorites...God's will, raids by little green hunters in flying saucers, lack of standing room in Noah's Ark, and palaeoweltschmerz—Glenn Jepsen

Triceratops and Anklyosaurus are still only available in 1:144.
If you want a 1:72 Trike you have to go for the Antediluvia Collection model.

hence the question mark...couldnt remember if they were 1/72 or 1/144. So now I know...ultra tiny models !!!

I think I'll probably get these. They are perfect for dioramas of all kinds. I also can't wait for those oviraptors. Have you ever thought of making a large scale Microraptor for your Saurozoic Collection?

Please please please David get hasbro to hire you as dinosaur sculptor for the Jurassic park 4 toy line!
I'd like them to create good looking dinosaurs if not entirely accurate ones.

I was checking out David Krentz's official website and, although the Tyrannosaurus Mundi is not available as a resin, the Gorgosaurus and Einiosaurus seem to be: http://www.davidkrentz.com/Krentz_Presentz_Sculpture/1_18.html

Is it possible to still order them, or is the website really outdated? :-[

Thanks :)

Takama

Its really outdated.  Last I heard. David doesn't take orders from that site any more.
