[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

I just got one - it was very heavy, so taking more with me wasn't an option (with an already overloaded suitcase). There are a few more in the museumshop in Tokyo, but I'm afraid that's not much of a help to you. I have been searching on the internet for any info on the figure, but couldn't find anything yet. :( The only text on the figure itself is 'National Science Museum Tokyo'. It sure is an interesting figure though!

Hm, okay. How much was it? Then maybe I´ll contact the museum myself.

Yes, that would be a smart thing to do! I think it was about 1500 yen (that's roughly 15 euro) - shipment will probably be expensive because of its weight. PM me if I can be of any further help!

I would mostly want a Pycnonemosaurus and Sacisaurus (two more for the Unique Specimens thread?)

Yup... adding them...  ^-^ But what should I enter as the company/artist name for these?

Great hauls everybody! There's some amazing figures there!

Capcom Dinosaur Expo 2009 Gigantoraptor, Mamenchisaurus, Szechuanosaurus, Guanlong & Edmontosaurus

C:-)  The Szechuanosaurus is made by Kaiyodo for the 2004 Expo.

                      ....... sorry :).

Metallisuchus

Wow I love the Sacisaurus - brilliant sculpt and paint.

To any Americans who collect Kaiyodo - where do you get them, and are they expensive?

amargasaurus cazaui

I order them from ebay sellers, that send them to me. You can find a whole tier of them listed below ten dollars each with free shipping, many at the five dollar level. I did get a nice pile from a fellow forum member, but I believe I somewhat depleted her stock. I am always on the lookout for ones I do not have at fair prices however.

Most should not be expensive.  Of course, they are over 10 years old now, so they will start to get less common, but they still shouldn't be valued at what some sellers on ebay sell them for.

Metallisuchus

Thanks. I'll have to familiarize myself with them and bid on some then.

Scientific Toys:

Stegosaurus
Pachycephalosaurus
Brachiosaurus
Coelophysis (?)
T.rex
Ankylosaurus
Pteranodon
Deinonychus
Triceratops
Parasaurolophus

They are so underestimated! Seeing them in real made me think of Battat quality instantly.

Invicta

Ankylosaurus
T.rex
Triceratops

Thank you so much Blackdanter! They are pretty cool classic new acquisitions!

Hm, as teasing as an Invicta Ankylosaurus would be (as teasing as ANY Invicta reissue or whatever would be), of course I meant Inpro, which are even older than the Invictas :)

I managed to acquire one of the two Invictasaurs I actually do like (the other being the Liopleurodon)

The Invicta Lammy...

The photo doesn't show it, but the details (especially the wrinkling of the skin) are very nice.
