Awesome haul, Cityraptor. ...Congrats! :D

Thanks. But like I said, it is the result of several months.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

The 'K' figures are from the tube of animals that came with the Groovy Tubes book Gone Extinct. There is a game with them and everything. And yes, it is out of print.

sauroid

yep i saw the book years ago. the mini figures are in a cylindrical tube right on the spine of the book. i almost bought it. good thing i was able to buy these as loose figures.

Wonderful acquisitions  ;)

My last acquistions of a flea market  ^-^.
[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

Guess following the guy who evolved in an environment without enemies is a bad idea, even if he is a Dinosaur.

Great hauls everybody!

Sauroid, what size are those extinct animal minis? They do indeed look strikingly similar to the AH figures, but are they as tiny?

Very similar feel though. Does this line consist of any more extinct species figures?

A wider range than the AH line then, which only added Brachiosaurus, Allosaurus and Stegosaurus to the mix. Thanks for the info.

Like the rest of the Groovy Tubes sets, there are 15 figures. The Extinct ones are their best, but their 3 myth-based ones have a pretty good range as well. As does the reptiles set.

sauroid

thanks  for the info SBell. (im missing 5 figures then :( )

Now what better Christmas gift to give a dino collector than a dino Christmas tree ornament. I think that's a cool gift! 8)
