Blade-of-the-Moon

Thanks bud, they were the only 2 there amidst a herd of Pachyrhinos 2 Acros and a T-Rex. I was disappointed at first but dug til I ended up in the back..was pretty surprised.

docronnie

Lucky you .... Blade .... It seems they are really hard to find.  :(
Keep The Magic Alive and Kicking! :-)

Blade-of-the-Moon

I was pretty surprised, I was digging through the shelf and thought " crap..another bust. " Then I saw the Para's back ridge and knew what it was..had a great me-as-a-kid-again rush! The hunt is certainly part of what makes it better to actually find them!

Yeah its a Target exclusive at least so far as I've found. It;s also a mini puzzle that falls apart quite easily..so mine is staying in the package..heh

ROM ichthyosaur and JW mini mosasaur make a splash in their new home. Thanks to deanm for helping me slowly plug the gaps in my marine reptile collection! I didn't realise the ROM ichthyosaur was so dainty.  ^-^

Nice Marine Reptile collection.

Well, I recently nearly doubled the number of Schleichs I own...and also added my first Linde and Marx.

Introducing Schleich Classics!
Stegsaurier ( Stegosaurus )
Kammsaurier ( Scelidosaurus )
Ursaurier ( Brontosaurus )
Panzersaurier ( Proganochelys )
Stachelsaurier ( Ankylosaurus ) x 2
Realistic? No, but unlike later Schleichs those were probably never claimed to be realistic. They for sure have a certain charme.
Linde Brontosaurier ( Brontosaurus )
Marx Wooly Mammoth
Schlacht der Dinosaurier Stegosaurus
Got all of those together for just 1,50 Euros at a Thrift Store.

Also, a new book and some JW cards:

And a poster:

Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

sauroid

oh wow i want that Brian Switek book! :o

Bokisaurus

I'm now the proud owner of Dinomike's swimming spinosaur! Wow, what a beautiful piece of art it is!
As a bonus, he also included an original watercolor Amargasaurus piece , another beautiful work. It will join my other DTF members artworks ( I should make a thread for it :))
Cheers!

PS
I added the little ammonite to add to the underwater effect ;)

You can see more of him in the Spino thread ^-^

Wow, that swimming Spinosaurus is neat! Appears much more gentle than the usual depictions of this species, swimming or otherwise. But looks can be deceiving...

I am eagerly awaiting mine--I am getting the full set of 4. Couldn't find a reason to have a 60cm coelacanth though...!
