The dimorphodon is fabulous. Size does not matter to me in fact it is very large and in fact it is not made according to Collecta at any scale.

It is a figure superior to the guidraco.

Agree, since I don't care for scale at all I think that the Dimorphodon and Styracosaurus look very cool displayed together.

I haven't posted many pics in the past few months due to the long and arduous process of moving, but now that I'm all settled in I'd like to share some of the recent highlights. My collections have grown a fair bit since I last posted.

Firstly, a big thank you to Sim for making me aware of Hirokazu Tokugawa's website. I was able to contact him and order his Gerrothorax, both the dark eyed and yellow eyed versions. And I finally landed myself the vaunted Play Visions Gerrothorax after all these years. This was my most wanted figure, and I was ecstatic when it arrived a couple weeks ago.

Here's the current Play Visions prehistoric amphibians crew. The Crassigyrinus is very cool with his burbot-like barbells. I would be willing to trade him for the PV Diplocaulus or Platyhistrix if anyone is interested.

The massive PNSO Huanghetitan:

Kaiyodo Dinosaur Expo Yi Qi:

Rebor Acrocanthosaurus:

I'm calling this long-snooted canine an Andrewsarchus. Picked him up from the gift shop at the St. Louis Zoo. Handcarved, pretty neat:

Finally completed my SRG Mosasauruses. The big one is really hard to find, especially in this condition:

The rarest picture of prehistoric marine reptiles you'll see today. This is the Holy Trinity of rares: Neoform, Chialu and Mignot. Messmore & Damon is also up there in rarity, but they made no marines. The hollow lead Mignot Plesiosaurus (circa France 1920's) is the recent acquisition rounding out the deific trio. Rather swan-like and elegant compared to the other two, really.
We are accustomed to look upon the shackled form of a conquered monster, but there - there you could look at a thing monstrous and free." - King Kong, 2005

Fabulous haul, BlueKrono! Amazing diversity too.

EmperorDinobot

Wow. I haven't bought anything in a really long time.

Jose S.M.

Nice haul, that carved canine it's very nice indeed!

New Collecta deluxe models just arrived.

Awesome! Cant wait to get the Dimorphodon!

stoneage

;D  I just received my order off e-bay from Dan's Dinosaurs.  I got the Safari Diplodocus, Giganotosaurus, Kronosaurus, and T-rex.  They are great figures and the price was right!

Loon

Decided to open her up, since her box is so beat up.

Here's the collector's card:

I think she may be series 2? But, I don't know.

AcroSauroTaurus

She's from Series 1, the only Tyrannosaurus they released in series 2 was a green repaint of the Young Tyrannosaurus. ;)
I am the Dinosaur King!

Loon

Yeah, I found out the second series version comes with a movie still card. There actually was a second series re release of the red, with a different box design, and card.

I'm glad you managed to get those two Gerrothorax by Hirokazu Tokugawa, and that I could help with that.  They look cool!  As for all the recently acquired figures in your post, they look like satisfying acquisitions.

Too bad you didn't get the rarer card. But hey, this one actually looks cooler. Gotta love that artwork! :)

Got myself one of these. Heheh.  >:D
It came in a lovely box with foam insert.
Nice details, beautifully painted. Even the outer egg shell has little speckels.

For size reference:

Kaprosaurus

I have been keeping my eye on the EDAGE figures, especially the Tarbosaurus. Now looking at it,i'm liking the Triceratops more and more. There are 3 variations of this right?

Fenestra

Yes. There is a brown, green and pink variant.

Followed another forum member's advice and bought this lot on eBay which was indeed too good to pass up for a mere 50 euros. Even though I had half the lot already.

Damn, Photobucket sucks these days. Can only post links, not pics...

suspsy

Yeah, isn't it nice how the only Photobucket package that allows sharing images to forums has a $400 annual fee?

Indeed. That's it for me with PB. Site was slow as it was with all the ads, but this is just crossing the line...

Sucks, now all my pics everywhere are down...
