I figured it was time I started my own thread for my collection, so here goes.

Battat Tyrannosaurus, version 3

Kaiyodo Dinoland Dilophosaurus.

Battat Diplodocus

Kaiyodo Maiasaura

Balaur

Nice collection! I wish I had the Battat Tyrannosaurus.

Gwangi

About time we got to see your collection and thanks for sharing it. I know with your particular taste it should be a good one (collection, that is).

Thanks for the comments, guys :) I have a couple more for tonight.

Battat Acrocanthosaurus. Since it is from the Battat line, it has issues standing.

CM Studios Ceratosaurus

CM Studios Carnotaurus

Blade-of-the-Moon

Nice collection !

The pic of the spinos is cool..wouldn't mind seeing a few more of them together. :)

Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus

Very nice collection, TQ! Can't wait to see more.

Thanks BotM and Spinosaurus :) I'll try to take some more photos of the two spinosaurus together, but it's not easy since the Carnegie tends to fall over without support.

Just prop his front arm's lower claw on a rock.worked great for mine. :)

..... it was about time indeed :)!
We know you have a beautiful collection. It's nice to see all these pieces in one single thread.

I've seen dozens of photos of the Battat Acrocanthosaurus, but this is the first time that I really can see it :D. Thanks.
It seems too be better than I used to think.

Blade-of-the-Moon

The Battat Acro is certainly worth adding to a collection..if you can. I'm still looking myself.

deanm

:) Nice collection so far.  :)

I look forward to seeing the rest!

Thank you Concavenator, Postsaurischian and Deanm. Postsaurischian, your comment in particular was very kind. Thank you :)

Wow!  I didn't realize that shapeways Spino was so big!!! :o

Also, how big is that Kaiyodo Maiasaura?  I almost bought a green one on ebay, but backed out because it seemed overpriced for a small figure.  However, after seeing yours, I'm thinking I may have misunderstood its true size! :))

This is a great collection TQ, can't wait to see more! :)

Thanks :) I've never seen a green version of the Maia before, was it a custom paint job? My Maiasaura is about 30cm long and 10cm high. I think it's either a 1/30 or 1/35 model.

Someone did a really snazzy repaint here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kaiyodo-Maiasaura-Dinosaur-Resin-Finished-GK-Model-Figurine-1-35-Scale-/161178690273 but it might be a bit too expensive for you. I don't think I paid more than $100 for mine.

It was sort of a mottled green-black, I thought it looked familiar so I figured it was just a color variant, but I guess I was wrong as I can't find any photos of it anywhere on the web.

And that Maia certainly is nice looking, but for $300 I think I'd rather hunt down a Battat Diplodocus! :))

Dan LoRusso and Greg Wenzel have a very, very similar style- are they maybe related somehow? They both have the same method of detailing, with lots of skin wrinkles.

Just wondering. Or maybe it's because they're both sculpting for the same line (Dinosaur Studio) so the models look similar for consistency purposes?
