Some non-dinosaur acquisitions as of late. Who would have thought my first Sideshow pieces wouldn't be from their Dinosauria line?

Sammael the Desolate One.

The del Toro collection grows!

Got the McFarlane Toys Banshee a while back and loved it so much that I decided to pick up the Skimwing if it ever went on sale. Well, it did, and it does not disappoint!

Spoiler

Maybe someday we'll get a Tulkun...

Anyone familiar with Wayne Barlowe is probably aware of his unique Paleoart (I still remember repeatedly checking out his ABC of Dinosaurs book from my local library as a kid) but I'm also a huge fan of his Inferno series. That's why I'm excited to have this bust of his Decurion on my bookshelf alongside his published collections.

Spoiler

Love the detail of the soul bricks as part of the base. Great touch.

Hmm, I had no idea they had a figure of that first guy. I just watched Hellboy within the past month or so. Such a great creature design.

Well, this is another one I just had to have. The Thing is one of my all-time favorite creature features and I sincerely hope to see more of those monsters get the Neca treatment down the line! For now though, this dog thing is pretty fantastic. Too many pieces to open it but at least it looks pretty great in box!

Dusty Wren

Oh, wow, avatar_Carnoking @Carnoking! That's an amazing figure. The Thing is also a favorite of mine, and that's a gorgeous rendition of the dog monster. Love the packaging design, too.

Check out my customs thread!

CityRaptor

Got some Cadillacs.

After all they go well with Dinosaurs....

And yes, I also got a 20-sided dice at my local nerd shop. Not a player, but I've wanted one of those for a while.

All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend

Love those old Caddys, avatar_CityRaptor @CityRaptor . Myself, I'm a T-Bird person, have a collection of those.

Another from Neca. A friend showed me his Alien Queen figure a few years back and I was pretty jealous seeing as they were long out of production. So when Neca announced a new run, I made sure to get my pre-order in and she arrived a few weeks back.

Unfortunately, I really have nowhere to put her that would do it justice, so she'll be staying in box for the time being. Probably for the best, the last thing I need are a bunch of facehuggers running around!

Faelrin

avatar_Carnoking @Carnoking If you had Rebor's Xenomorph T. rex they released some years back it would make a nice display companion. Looks incredible just in the packaging too.

A while ago I watched Alien and Aliens and fell in love with them...so it was inevitable...

I went for Hiya's instead of NECA due to being more budget and space friendly (and I already collect a lot of stuff...). Also because I want a Queen and where the heck would I put the NECA one, that thing is larger than the Hammond Collection T.rex (And expensive).

But then the exact same day little Chap arrived I decide to go on a stroll to the geek store area of my city (before it arrived) and I came across a NECA Alien Queen and a Big Chap. And now I'm resisting the urge to go back and grab them. :-\

About damn time that I got my King Ghidorah (and Skull Devil), the wait was killing me...

CityRaptor

Got some things for my kitchen:

I realized that a kitchen with blue walls, white cup boards, a red retro fridge with Sinclair fridge magnets and some Cadillac models for decoration was heading into a certain direction....
Two metal signs for decoration.
Two sets of metal coasters to use.

Another new arrival, the PNSO Tyrannotitan, a very handsome fellow. I've gotten many of my tyrannosaurids lipped or will do so, but I have no such desire with the carcharodontosaurids, which I regard as slashing, flesh-harvesters with relatively high tooth replacement rates.
