Very nice! Is this going to be the final pose or do you have more options you're considering?

As I said before, this is just the static pose of the modeling process, since I am nowhere near completion with this. There will be at least one more dynamic pose.

This is another thread that I have just discovered, beautiful work, I love your 3D models and your choice of colour palette and patterns. I have no idea how you guys do these things on a computer but I can really appreciate them.

Ah didn't catch that on my initial read-through; I look forward to seeing it!

Thank you, Doug! I'm glad you like them. :)

More work done on this guy. I must admit: I can barely hold back on those wrinkles... :D

And thats 1/72 :o
Tjeesh man
Wont they fade away?

fabricious

I am not sculpting for 1/72 exclusively, therefore the teeth will be as detailed as possible. Since I intend to use my models for digital illustrations and presentation pictures as well, I don't want to just make chubby teeth and extremely pronounced details for shapeways. For the 1/72 models I'll fatten the teeth up a bit, but that's to be decided once I'm there, not beforehand. But you are right, they will most likely not show up properly in the print, due to material properties and size.

Ok that makes sense
You can alter your master any way you want afterwards

Very nice as always.

Thanks! :) I'm quite pleased for my first attempt at sauropods.

Hey there, folks! Long time no update from my side (sorry for that), but life has been more than busy these past months.

Here's an update on the Giraffatitan brancai that I was working on:

I'm working on it right now, maybe I'll (FINALLY) be able to finish it some time soon...

Looks great. I have some spare cash so I could help with the testing. That is if you intend to make a 1/72 or similar print 8)

Thanks guys! I just got back from a meeting at uni (about the project I made the Struthiosaurus austriacus for) and will continue working on this guy after I've devoured my much needed prey. :D

Any suggestions for colors/patterns? Any animals I should try to incorporate? It is an adult bull, so go ahead with ideas!

Thanks for the offer, TQ! I can try making him available in at least 1/72 over on shapeways. Other than that, I'll try uploading the Struthiosaurus as well, probably in 1/40 and 1/20, for the time being. I'll keep you guys posted!

Kayakasaurus

Looks great! If I were you I'd look into the material guidelines for extreme detail and print it as small as posible! That is and still have the detail. That would be cool 8) :))

I'll have a look at the new materials!
