Lovely picture! (But then I always do like seeing accurate Dromaeosaurids behaving like real animals instead of depraved monsters)

Thanks, Tyto! There definitely need to be more pictures depicting them as naturally acting animals, true that!

Here is another attempt at drawing 'Cricket', this time while hunting. I actually liked the initial sketch better, though, I need to work on my rendering skills again.

Another lovely picture, but the eyes seemed a bit too big to me, more like a Troodon. That's just me though. :P

I only just realized the same, actually. And for about half an hour I tried finding out what was wrong with her face, haha. I might change that tomorrow, since it's bothering me a lot.

Tyto_Theropod

Don't worry, I do the same with both art and writing. I look at it and know there's something wrong with it but can't pinpoint what, and when I post it someone will immediately point the problem out and it's obvious! But hey, that's what constructive crit is for, right? :)

Alright, I changed the eyes a bit, but the head is still far too broad and bulky. Won't be changing that any time soon, though, that's as far as I can go with a sketch.

Also, exciting news! I got commissioned to do two 3D-models (for a private person over on DeviantArt). Two babies, I think it is quite obvious what they should be inspired by.

That's awesome getting commissioned! I'm currently working on my first commission for some 1:40 scale Sculpts.

That's really great, congratulations! I was hoping to get a few commissions for 3D-models, since university has gotten a bit more expensive than anticipated this year. ;)
These two are going to be 3D-prints, eventually, I hope that I'll be getting pictures when they have been painted.

Thanks! I'm trying not to think too much about the missing feathers and stuff... :D

I actually only got commissioned to make the model without colors, but I got carried away, having far too much fun with this.

Blade-of-the-Moon

That would look cool animated and placed on a screen..maybe inside a tank like it's floating?

I actually had a similar idea! Sadly I don't know how to rig it/animate it, but maybe I can work some photoshop-magic there. ;)
