I highly doubt that they did not vocalize. They just did not roar. Modern Dinosaurs and Crocodiles are very vocal.

Agreed. Only 4 species of cat are actually known to "roar." Makes you wonder what a giant bird would sound like? Rodan anyone?

A true "roar" is something exclusive to mammals (and rare among them at that), so yes dinosaurs definitely would not be capable of roaring. Some people might say that a cassowary or an airplane roars, but technically speaking they don't, it's just that the word is often used out of it's original context as an adjective to describe a loud noise.

I always look forward to the animal-themed seasons! It's a shame the mecha for that show look absolutely atrocious. Don't we have a Super Sentai thread somewhere?
