Some JW concept art

Anyone recognize a familiar face?

PAPO >:D

Pretty unoriginal if you ask me.

Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Am I the only one who felt sort of bad for Blue in the end? She has no pack to be with now. Echo I believe got hit with the explosive, Charlie and Delta were both done in by the I-Rex, and in the end she is "set free" by Owen. I don't know why (other than it makes me happy) but I kind of like to think that maybe Blue and Rexy form a bond in the end and more or less take care of each other.

Also my husband and I were at the premier at our Imax (which had no JW themed anything) and ended up having to leave out early. I got food poisoning from a local pizza buffet.  :'( We got to see it all the way through the next day but I'm still sour that I didn't get to see it at the premier.
I loved the film though, and my husband and I will go see it again once I'm over my dental surgery. The ending was epic, I love the nod to the fans when Rexy plowed through the spinosaurus skeleton, and I loved how she and Blue teamed up to defeat the I-Rex in the end.
Henry Wu turning out to be a bad guy working for Ingen, who wants to make the dinosaurs into weapons through me for a loop that's for sure.
I think I'm gonna give this film a 9.5/10 perhaps a 10/10 when I see it again. ;)

Actually, Charlie was the one who was blown up, and Echo was thrown into the grill. There's also a fan theory that Delta survived. I didn't notice, but as blue runs off, Delta's unique, birdlike call can be heard and blue runs in the direction she was thrown. I doubt it, though. It would have been nice to see wild raptors, and at least know Blue would have somewhere to go.

Just watched the movie yesterday, i found it much better then the second and third, and i personally loved watching the t-rex smash through the spinosaurus skeleton for a hint of justice from the 3rd film where the spinosaurus took down our childhood hero.

I think Blue and Rexy's relationship probably didn't extend past the mutual agreement to not finish the fight with each other.

I suspect in the restricted area there are a lot of wild dinosaurs..and of course that should mean Raptors.  I doubt this is the last we've seen of Blue.

I also wonder if there are other tyrannosaurs?

Ah, well it was hard to see the color patterns. I have a poster of them now so I can see who is who is better. OOOH I like that theory and I want it to be true! I'd love for Delta to be okay, this way Blue isn't alone.  :))
If not who's to say she couldn't make a symbiotic relationship with Rexy? ;)

When Blue first runs off, it stops and looks at what I thought was the body of Delta laying on the ground, since Echo was grilled, then Blue runs off to the right, but I am not 100% sure.  I am going to try and get a better look next viewing.

I kinda doubt it right, rexy was the only T. rex on numbar before and I imagine they recaptured it because It was easier than growing another or having it wandering the forbidden zone,

Also I'm kinda curious if the African guy made it off the island they just sorta left him in the woods

Owen's assistant? He was in the evacuation shelter at the end off the island..I think?

It says on the website they have more than one Rex..but that's all..no age, number or anything else. The movie sure didn't help tell us more.

Just back back from the movie and I gotta say, I absolutely loved it! I loved how self aware it was, how it basically admitted that the original is a better movie, how it picks on society for always needing something "new, and fresh and exciting". Let's face it, it's not 1993 anymore. You can't make a movie like the original "Jurassic Park" and expect it to succeed. The original came out at a time when the technology was at just the right place for it to make an impact. That is no-longer the case. The guy with the JP shirt, basically telling us what we're in for along with Wu's discussion are two of the best scenes in the movie. Also, I'm a sucker for nostalgia and for me NOTHING is more nostalgic than "Jurassic Park", this movie oozes nostalgia. Maybe I'm a sucker, but I'm cool with that.

So I ended up wearing a "Jurassic Park" shirt to the movie and man was I a hit after the credits rolled. Compliments left and right as I left the building. People love "Jurassic Park" again because of this movie, maybe this movie will reignite "dino-mania". Hopefully so.

@CityRaptor: sorry, late reply... timezones...lol.  Nope, got sandwiched between 2 big families with small children.

- I did feel really sorry for Blue... she had that confused dog look at the end.  Too mammalian, but this is jurassic park anyway.
- The pteranodon seemed really confused if it wanted to use its legs eagle style, or scoop the shrieking assistant with its beak... points for the depiction of shallow diving though... you can easily see that ornithocheiroid wings aren't really suited for swimming...
- There's this article that discussed how movies would end with a triumphant hero but if you analyze it, said hero is actually doomed.  I had those thoughts about Rexy.  She's very old, sustained injuries that seemed worse than what killed the apatosaurs and would now have to hunt instead of being fed goats.

All I'm hearing is " we're definitely getting a sequel!" lol  Though this could mean more/better products and maybe a new attraction at Universal.

Yes Owen's assistant survived and was shown in the evac shelter at the end of the movie. Saw it a second time last night so I'm sure.  ;)
