I quite like the 1:18 Psittacosaurus and haven't had any issues with it falling apart. Is it more stable than the others or could this be a QC issue?

My first P. hellenikorhinus copy had an incredibly loose knee joint, to the point where it was rattling inside the blister packaging. Thankfully EverythingDinosaur offered a replacement and my second specimen is better. Still I would've preferred less articulation for a more sturdily built figure. I would've happily sacrificed the limb joints and mid-torso articulation for a smoother, less "cut up" presentation. The secondary limb joints in particular seem incredibly fragile.

Another review of the BotM Dilophosaurus. This copy doesn't seem to suffer from the cartoonish crest paint. So I'm now wondering if it's a QC issue between batches?

The only issue I've had with the mini-1/18 dinos is the Psittaco's mouth being unable to move and its one foot pegged into the base warping over the course of a year. Both were easily fixed with hot water.

Beasts of the Cenozoic Andrewsarchus colour scheme (top), Cyberzoic Andrewsarchus (bottom).

Yup! Brown Hyena for the BotC version, and Striped Hyena for the Cyberzoic one.

Painted up BotC Andrewsarchus. Looks absolutely stunning. Can't wait to see the Cyberzoic one painted too. Will be difficult chooseing between the two.

As someone who loves Andrewsarchus, I can't wait for this figure! Not sure on which one I'd prefer, both colours look really nice. Definitely will be a hard decision.

I think I narrowly prefer the brown hyena coloration.

This may be the wrong thread for it, but my Dilophosaurus arrived and I am very pleased with it. I am not expert on the anatomy, but in hand this looks much better to me than the photos, which were a little more "dino-monster." The highlight for me is the neck articulation and the set of the closed jaw--the possible poses make it look so much more like a real animal to me, although i still wish the neck could bend even lower. It is amazing to me to see how far these figures have come in the last decade. I was really happy with the original raptors at first, too--they got me into collecting in the first place--but the newer figures have really raised the standard.

Got my Deinonychus. Took a bit to get him to stand up since the tail fan is so massive. The fact that he doesn't even need to lean on his wings is pretty impressive.

Cool to be able to see the range of dromaeosaur sizes. Now they just need to make a tiny 1:18 Microraptor.

Definitely!! Since that would be quite tiny, perhaps what they could do is include it in a pack of two along with a 1:18 Dilong. Which would both make the Microraptor in scale with those dromaeosaurids and the Dilong in scale with the other tyrannosaurs (save for the 1:35 Tyrannosaurus, of course).

avatar_Noideaforaname @Noideaforaname Congrats! The Deinonychus is so pretty... Well, just like the others. Seeing those dromaeosaurids in scale with each other is a pleasure indeed, you just made me jealous!  ;D
